"The room was very clean, no odor, bed and pillows were comfy. Staff were accommodating and kind. The bistro/restaurant has AMAZING food. I mean really, really tasty food. Honestly, I have NO idea why people would complain about this hotel. It is a historic hotel and almost 200 years old. I think you'd have to be a half-brained nitwit to expect it to be modern looking inside. As for the ghosts....I didn't get to see or hear any while we visited. I stayed in Rm 207. I would definitely stay here again."

"Joline was amazing we came in late from being on the road for 12hrs she was kind and wonderful and hooked me up for an upgrade as it was my birthday she went beyond my needs and made me feel special, rooms are older but well taken care of, the breakfast was hot and good for something quick "

"This was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in! Such a vibe with the decor, gas fireplace, 4 poster bed, awesome bedding and linens, heated bathroom floors, automatic shades. I loved everything about it. Very clean, very new, very modern. "

"The size of the resort was perfect. We have been to others where thinking of walking back to your room felt like a forever track. Not Kartrite...it's the perfect size. We stayed in the two bedroom suite w/balcony...plenty of room for all to have their own space and worth the extra money."
