「A very nice property with stunning natural scenes. We saw elephants every evening because there's a waterhole in front of the dinning area. Staff are friendly and attentive. Considering its rate is much lower than those accommodations inside of Tsavo but still easily to access to the largest national park in Kenya, it's a very cost-effective stay.」

After just a few short hours of being there, the Maasai guards knew who we were and where our tent was. 「This hotel is a very old.I can understand it had its history since 1965. I respect the history but It is obvious that they had never renovate or make improvement to their rooms! The maintenance inside the room is very bad (e.g. paints falls out and cracks, spider webs all over corners).Mosquitos' corpse sticked on the nets in the toilets and windows which are disgusting! The "new" plastic toilet bowl cover is stabbing your back (because it cannot be opened widely to 90 degree as usual!) It was...

「The staff are amazingly helpful, polite and friendly. They made us feel incredibly welcome despite our very late arrival. The waterhole, good and service are great and this has been our experience in Kenya so far. Love the overnight buzzer system which alerts you based on number of buzzes as to which animals have arrived at the waterhole The Ark needs new windows and the shower takes a while to warm up. It is cozy though with the big log fire and the thoughtful provision of hot water bottles...
