“The house overall is spacious, clean, and was comfortable for our group of 2 couples. The location is wakable to pretty much anywhere in Takayama. If you need more than 2 beds, make sure that you're OK sleeping on real futons on a tatami floor. I was comfortable but my husband would have appreciated more cushioning. The location is very quiet - we enjoyed the garden but were careful to be quiet since it is almost surreally silent all around. Two small caveats - there is a washer but no dryer,……
