很親切的房東英文流利

房東非常貼心，還開車載我們去找租車服務，記得住宿前要先電話告知即將前往，房間設備完整，整齊清潔，想體驗日本家庭生活首選，但隔音真的太差，隔壁咳嗽也聽得到...有點嚇到...希望能改善^_^

家的感覺，衡溫做得很好

入住時開業不久，設施整齊企理，冷氣有暖氣，溫度可自由調較，洗澡時調較乾燥模式十分舒服，自動衡溫，開熱水不會焗，冬天洗澡溫度暖和適中。有小型廚房，到超市買材料煮食方便，餐具齊全。床鋪舒適，有窗，空氣流通，位於住宅區，環境寧靜。

お隣の声が。。

綺麗な場所でしたが、お隣との壁が薄いようで、賑やかに会話する声がしっかり聞こえました。こちらは子連れで赤ちゃんもいましたので、夜泣きの声が聞こえないかちょっと心配でした。。静かに過ごしたい方、元気な子どもと一緒の方は検討する際頭に入れておいた方が良さそうです。ご案内のメール等は丁寧で安心して滞在できました。最寄りの駅からも京都駅からも近く、近くにスーパーやコンビニもあり、立地も良かったです。

洗濯機や食器など、家族で過ごすのに助かる設備や備品が揃っていて助かった。リビング部は狭かったが、その分二階の寝室部は天井も高くゆっくり寝られた。自転車を滞在中便利に使えて気ままにあちこち家族で行けて良い思い出になった。気になったのは何より、配管が悪いのか匂いが換気をしても二階にまで充満してしまい不快だったこと、また壁が薄いらしく隣室の声が丸聞こえだった事。価格を考えるとかなり満足度が高かっただけに残念だった。

Awesome Japanese style house

Our experience here at Coto Toji was amazing, from the beginning a driver was waiting us at Kyoto station and he was the one that did the check in at the property. His name is Kibune, an old short funny Japanese guy who made pleasant our first hour in Kyoto. Everything was awesome regarding this property, we enjoyed our futons and the “crazy” equipped bathroom . It is very close to Toji station subway and the bus # 207, which is the most convenient one, it takes you to the most important sites in the city. We communicate very well with the staff by email and phone. We definitely recommend this location to everyone, it’s really worthy .

Plus - Our first stay in Kyoto. And this property is very good for us. Bedroom at the 2nd floor, it's good size for 5 people. All the futons are comfy, it can be better. The bathroom, kitchen, living room all in the first floor. Very nice atmosphere. Easy to move. Bathroom is very nice and large. Convenience store very close. Toji temple is just across the street, nice temple. Bus stop also very close. There is one bus 207 that can take you almost everywhere. There is also other buses from the same stop. At the end we walk to Kyoto station and it just take us 10 minutes nice walking. Free bike is very nice. We use those bikes for full 2 days. Very nice. Can be improved - No rice cooker. Need this for our 6 days stay. Some of the bikes missing the keys. The bike is standard bikes. It will be good, if bike in better quality. But it good enough for light cycling around Kyoto. We ride to Fushimi Inari, Kiyamizu Dera, Tofokuji Temple, Gion, Kamo River - easy ride.

Had a great time! Very convenient and safe location. Close to bus, and all train stations. Less than a 5-minute walk to the grocery store. Host was very friendly and responsive. We had a large party and was not able to fit in the shuttle, the host arranged a taxi to accommodate the rest of us to the property AND gave us the money to pay for the cab fare. We were there during a heat wave so the host stop by to drop off a fan to use. We did not need it because the a/c units in the unit was more than enough to keep us cool, but the thought was appreciated. Great property and wonderful host.

Amazing stay at a local Japanese ryokan

We loved everything from the shuttle service, location, layout of the home to the bikes that were available for us to use. Highly recommended!

Around the corner from the Toji Temple and pagoda!

This was a lovely little house to stay in in Kyoto. You can actually see the top of Japan's tallest pagoda from the upstairs window! We got a ride to the actual property from the hotel check in spot, which was great. This property is located around 2km from the main Kyoto train station, however, there is a smaller train station, Toji, that is less than 1km away, which can take you one stop over to Kyoto if walking long distances is a problem. There are a couple of convenience stores very close by, and a Mos Burger beside Toji train station that is open until 11pm. As this property is a house, it is located in the equivalent of the suburbs of Kyoto. There is no daily housekeeping or towel replacement etc., however, there is a washing machine in the unit. We just reused our towels for a few days and then washed them and hung them to dry before using again. Amenities provided include the aforementioned washing machine (with detergent), a fridge and a kitchenette with some dishes and a few pieces of cookware. The washroom has large pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is a hair dryer as well as toothbrushes. The bedding style is more traditional Japanese, being futon mattresses laid out on the bamboo mat floor of the upstairs (this is a ryokan style lodging). They make up one bed for you as an example. The only negative experience we had was the walls are SO thin; you can hear people next door, even at normal conversation volume.

A nice change from a hotel

It was great that we were picked up from the train station and taken to COTO Kyoto Toji 2, although we had some difficulty working out which car was there to pick us up and needed to make a phone call. The room was very clean and the futons were comfortable. The staircase was very steep which wasn't a problem for us but might be for others. COTO Kyoto Toji 2 was a house that has been split into two, unluckily we had noisy neighbors but that's the luck of the draw. (You get half the house that appears in the photo). Good location close to Toji Temple, a convenience store and a nice restaurant that did take away. Kyoto Station was within walking distance, but not with suitcases and children!

L'appartamento è stato davvero fantastico. Su due piani, in stile tradizionale eppure ipermoderno con tecnologie all'avanguardia. Se dovessimo tornare a Kyoto sicuramente torneremmo ad alloggiare qui. Servizio navetta gratuito dalla stazione, facilità incredibile di check in e comunicazione perfetta.

戸建てを2軒分に改装した間取り。玄関ドアを入ると共用スペースをはさみ2つのメイン玄関ドアが現れる。＜1階＞限られた空間にキッチン、リビング、お風呂に洗面所がギュッと集まる。エアコンあり。リビングにはテーブルと椅子。フルで使用すると、移動時には椅子と身体をうちに寄せるがあるほどの狭さ。だがテレビを見ながらまったりと寛ぐことができる。※テーブルがグラグラするのはご愛嬌w 洗面所にはPANAの洗濯機とウォッシュレットの最新トイレ。狭さは感じない。ドライヤ、タオル、歯ブラシあり。天井には物干し用の伸縮フックが2箇所あるが、竿が見当たらなかった。選択をされる方は便利な設備なので事前に確認されるのが良いかと。※リビングにタオル干しスタンドあり。きれいなお風呂はLIXILの最新タイプ。自動お湯はり機能付きの浴槽は、深さも十分あり気持ちが良い。ボディーソープ、シャンプー、リンスはPOLA。優しい香り。キッチンはほぼフル装備。電気コンロ、ティファール、洗剤、スポンジ、各種皿・コップ、水切棚、2室の小型冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、大きな蓋付きゴミ箱が2つ（可燃・不燃）。まな板に包丁、ハサミ等もあり。＜2階＞ 1階と同じ広さの和室に縁側。エアコンあり。4人の就寝には十分な広さ。屋根裏部屋がないため天井は高く開放感あり。子どもたちには好評。＜気になる点＞階段が急で滑りやすい。 2階の押入れはロングコートをかけるほどの高さなし。ハンガーは2つ。 2階にテレビなし。＜その他＞チェックイン時のフロントは別の場所にあるが、宿まで車で送迎あり。玄関ドアはパスワード式の電子ロックなので鍵はなし。チェックアウト手続きなし。※フロントへ行く必要なし。自転車6台が無料で使用可。＜感想＞高層ホテルとは違い、窓を開ければ民家という生活感あふれる環境。小さな別荘という感じで楽しめる。建物、設備とも新しく清潔感がありリビングの狭さを許容できれば快適に過ごせると思う。

The room was really small, it was a house that was divided into 2 rental unit. The wall between the 2 unit was thin. I could hear the neighbor talks though they were not shouting.

Loved it!

Very much enjoyed the stay: we wish we had more time to enjoy all the services and amenities such as the bicycles and the cafe since we were constantly on the go and would definitely like to return. The house is in a quieter neighbourhood which suited us very well but Toji-do (a few steps away) and its temple is a beautiful hidden gem that is just steps away and Kyoto station felt close enough for us to make the fifteen minute walk there everytime rather than train. Check-in is done at a seperate cafe location about ten minutes from Kyoto stn. But conveniently they offer refreshments, food and a shuttle service to the house. Automated locks also mean it is very to come and go without worrying and check out was as easy as leaving.
