A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep).

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The Bothy was perfectly decorated and set up for a wonderful stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. We could not have asked for a better spot to stay.

3 days in a lovely old stone “bothy” in a secluded part of the Dales. Very comfy with all amenities this was a perfect location to explore this part of Yorkshire. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

A well equipped, comfortable bothy in an idyllic location. We would definitely recommend doing the walk to Aysgarth Falls following the public foot paths. We would definitely visit again.

My husband and I had 5 glorious nights at the Bothy and wished it could have been longer. Juliet and her husband were really helpful and accommodating, the apartment was lovely and comfortable, and quintessentially English, and we both fell in love with the sheep. The welcome was warm and the apartment had what we needed. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you Juliet!

It was terrific! The Bothy was what we expected: great location and perfect surroundings. Juliette was the great host, happy to help with tips on best pubs, best food and best walks. I highly recommend it.

The property was great with a charming bedroom. Our only problem was getting in once we got there. There was a clear sign for Bothy parking but nothing to direct us through the gate and out behind the building for entrance.
