「Expedia should be ashamed to charge for accommodation in what was a hostel for vagrants. During the period that access was unavailable to us, a neighbour told us that the Hamilton was used to house council-sent people, and we saw three such unfortunate people waiting to enter. My wife was frightened by the property when access was eventually gained, describing it as being like her idea of a prison, and I found it forbidding and inhospitable. 「We had a ground floor room which was close to kitchen and breakfast room which was noisy for the golfers who had requested earlier breakfast times. Staff convivial and friendly. It had woodchip wallpaper on the ceiling which was peeling off. The bathroom. If u could call it a bathroom. (More like a cupboard.
