“Expedia should be ashamed to charge for accommodation in what was a hostel for vagrants. During the period that access was unavailable to us, a neighbour told us that the Hamilton was used to house council-sent people, and we saw three such unfortunate people waiting to enter. My wife was frightened by the property when access was eventually gained, describing it as being like her idea of a prison, and I found it forbidding and inhospitable. We immediately left the building and luckily were able……

“We had a ground floor room which was close to kitchen and breakfast room which was noisy for the golfers who had requested earlier breakfast times. Staff convivial and friendly. Breakfast good and plenty of it - Lincolnshire sausage excellent. Beware carparking access a little tricky to negotiate. Easy access to local shops and golf course! ”

“The property looks rather dated and could do with being gutted and starting again. Looks like its stuck in the 70s. The room i had was on the top floor. It had woodchip wallpaper on the ceiling which was peeling off. The bathroom. If u could call it a bathroom. (More like a cupboard. Was very cramped.it had a sliding door that at seen better days and was a waste of time. The breakfast was pretty much standard. Nothing special. Overall the property was ok i suppose for one night in skegness. Dont……
