"Hotel lobby is nice. Rooms are in need of updating. Bathroom shower was a little dingy. Breakfast options were good. Front desk staff were nice. Located in a great area to events going on for the weekend. "

"It was cold and the heating was off. I called the reception to report the problem. After the service person examined it, he couldn’t fix the issue. Breakfast oatmeal wasn't tasty."

"Booked a room for 5 guests (2 queens and a pull-out), but they tried giving us a single King at check-in. I had to waste 15 minutes at the front desk just to get the room I paid for. The elevators were a disaster; one was broken the first night, and the other got stuck open on the 3rd floor the next day. We were lucky at least one was in working condition at a time so we didn't have to climb 6 floors. The room was even worse: the intercom didn't work, and staff admitted the whole system was down and wouldn't be fixed during our stay. It looks like it’s been broken for weeks. Also, the TV remote was broken - we could turn the TV on, but to turn it off, we had to pull the power cable out. Housekeeping also forgot to replace hand towels on day three. Worst facility and service I’ve experienced."

"Well kept heritage hotel, conveniently located downtown between riverwalk and the Alamo. Very touristy for families and couples. Mixture of family style, friendly restaurants as well as uper sacle fine dining."

"I love staying here. The staff from the front desk to the maintenance men we saw were all friendly and helpful. It's in a great location for shops, activities, and dining. The breakfast food was great, rooms clean, and service was done with a smile and courtesy, treating each guest as VIP! We've stayed before and will continue to stay here. "

"The breakfast was great ! Also love how they have a restraunt downstairs. My son who has autism wanted a pizza late at night and the had it made and ready within 15 minutes also loved the location and that they also offer a free dinner and drinks ! We had a suite and it was very spacious will be coming back soon !"
