Welcome on my arrival from Roshan, (apologies if I have not spelt that correctly) was warm, friendly and efficient and just set the tone for a great stay. Quality of the room for the price I paid was really impressive and I would definitely stay again.

Room had no heat and was freezing. They would not move me until the next morning as it would of been a upgraded room. So they left me in theroom with no heat. They also over charged me and still waiting ting on a refund.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. On the positive side, the hotel itself was well looked after and very clean. The two gentlemen on the front desk were excellent throughout my stay. They were friendly, professional and genuinely helpful, and they deserve recognition for the service they provided. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by a disappointing refund situation. I accidentally booked the wrong date and, following Expedia's advice, cancelled the reservation and made a new booking for the correct night. Despite paying for a second reservation, I was unable to obtain any refund for the original booking. I was told by the hotel that the decision rested with Expedia, while Expedia later told me the hotel had declined the request. Being passed between the two has left me feeling very frustrated. As for the breakfast, it wasn't up to the standard I expected. The sausages were very good, but the bacon was poor and the scrambled eggs were equally disappointing. I received breakfast free of charge because of the refund situation, and I'm grateful for that gesture. However, had I paid the advertised £48, I would have been extremely disappointed with the value. Overall, the staff I dealt with and the cleanliness of the hotel were very good, but the handling of the refund has left a lasting negative impression and unfortunately overshadows what could otherwise have been a positive stay.
