Very nice living experience

The hotel is pretty close to Paddington station. The price is pretty nice and it has lift in the hotel which is very helpful if you carry heavy luggage. The breakfast is very delicious.

The complimentary pastry was v delicious!! I enjoyed it v much. However, there were moths in my room every day despite the fact that I killed one or two every night.

Small hotel with great service

It was a last minute decision to move to London for one night. The hotel is located in a nice quite residential neighborhood. The personnel and service of the hotel is VERY good. From checking in to the point I left my luggage for a few hours after checking out, the staff is extremely nice and attentive. The room is on the small side but not a real complain for hotels in this location. The English breakfast is very good, too. The area outside of Paddington station wasn't the greatest but no problem walking at night. It's a short walk from Paddington Hilton to this hotel. I would definitely consider this hotel again should I come back for business again.

Perfect staffs but noisy and dangerous area

I was staying there for 4 nights, first night they arrange us at the bottom room which under the floor, I felt uncomfortable so I request changing room, the staffs are so nice and the next day we change to the room on 3 floor which is much better. The room is a little bit small but everything looks warm, I can feel the heart of the hotel from the staff and everything. Unfortunately, one might when me and disinter was going out to a store nearby, just 2 street towards Paddington station, it was around 10:00pm, me and my sister standing at the street, a guy driving motorbike and get on the passengers road, I thought he's gonna by me with his motorbike coz it was so close, he take my sisiter's mobile phone and run away. Lucky he slipped the phone so my sister rush take it back from the floor and we ran away, he stop his motorbike and looking at us, we were so scared we thought we might get hurt. Lucky we ran away at once and didn't lose anything. We came back to hotel and one of the staff told me these things happen quite often. So the following days I came back hotel before the sky gets dark. One more thing is the ceiling, the wall and the door are so thin that I can hear people walking all the time, the last 2 nights I could not sleep at all coz the people on upstairs walking all night (I dunno why they do not need to sleep). It was terrible hearing bang bang bang all night from the footstep like a giant person try to break the ceiling.

Not a quiet place to stay

Everything is very good except the sound isolation between rooms are real bad. Every morning at around 9am I was waken up by noise from making up rooms, door closing, chatting and laughing. Not a place to stay if you want a long sleep and restful vacation. But everything else are fantastic.

This room was not available on the date reserved. For me, to reserve a room and not have a room is terrible. Expedia (not Orbitz) did rebook us into another hotel. We will review that booking if asked to fo so. The three star ratings should be “not applicable” but that rating is not available.
