Parking has plenty of spaces. Checkin was quick. I was assigned a second floor room. The inside of door lost a large paint making it look ugly. Room was clean and spacious. There are only two lights, one on the roof but it’s not bright, one lamp on one of the nightstands but it couldn’t light on so literally it’s pretty dim after sunset. I didn’t bother to ask for a lamp or bulb replacement. The bed sheet was dirty so I asked housekeeping lady to give me another clean sheet so I could sleep on. The sink is a little clogged and the cold water wasn’t flow much so the coldest water is warm. The shower water was ok and the drain is good. Someone was coughing badly in the downstairs garden all the time, which bothered me much. He was there in daytime and evening and even at 2 AM. I couldn’t have good rest for the first night. The soundproof was so bad that I initially thought he was in the next room. I asked front desk lady to change my room but hotel was almost fully booked so I didn’t have an option. The breakfast was very basic and there was no milk or cereals or bagels. There was only coffee, juice, white bread and muffins, some red delicious apples and rotten bananas, and a waffle maker. That’s it. I didn’t have interest to go there the second morning. There is a microwave on each floor. There is no elevator. Overall, for two nights of sleep at a hotel that’s 20 min drive to the airport, I think it’s ok.

The room was clean and the hotel felt secure. However, there was a somewhat unpleasant smell in the hotel hallways, although it was something you could get used to. Another issue is that the shower water temperature, even at its highest setting, was comfortable but still about 10 degrees Fahrenheit lower than what I would consider ideal—especially on colder days.

Didn’t know that early check in required an extra $20 but that was okay I guess. You could hear the water running whenever someone took a shower in another room. You could also hear doors slamming in the hall sometimes. No elevator and there were a lot of flies in the lobby to check in, but other than those things everything was okay. It was in a decent area with a lot of shopping centers and the hotel wasn’t bad for the low price.

Check in was a great experience. The greeter was very professional and listened to my concerns and needs and was able to accommodate. The room was ok. It was a little too dark for my liking. Areas in the room were dusty. TV didn’t work and maintenance was unavailable to fix it. Check out the next morning was different. As I’m checking out and had the greeter the card key, she proceeded to walk to the room we stayed in. She didn’t tell me what she was doing. How I knew is because of the TV screen they have at the front desk has every view of the hotel cameras. So I watched her the entire way there and back to the front desk. I felt that was odd, since I’ve never known of that ever happening during check out. I later found out that she did this because we are African American. This was done to other African American guest only. The lady then explained that she doesn’t do that to other guest because they are “international guests”.

Awful experience overall. To name a few reasons: The agent was absent every single time we went to the front desk. The room was in a way worse condition than depicted; There were multiple water damage stains on the ceiling, poor patchwork found all around the room, missing amenities upon arrival (e.g., empty tissue dispensers, and only two small bath towels were provided). It was also extremely dim with only one of two bulbs in the ceiling lamp working. My partner and I felt “catfished” by the property and ultimately decided that it was not worth staying here for our trip.
