“Im sorry to say I ended up sleeping in a chair. I booked thru expedia and then called the motel directly to double check that I would have a wheelchair accessible room. Yes, the desk clerk said. The bed was at least a foot higher than my wheelchair seat, and there was no way I could transfer to the bed. Why are motels putting these new higher beds in what are supposed to be accessible rooms? “The hot tub was green and the pool was in such disrepair it felt unsafe to even get in with chlorine tablets sitting right at the return and the light hanging out by the wire and sitting on the pool edge. With this being the only 2 search criteria I chose it was very disappointing to say the least.
