“We were not originally planning on staying in Middletown but were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The Garden House is very comfortable and convenient to many things in town. Linda, our host had special little touches that made the stay relaxing. Number one the shower is amazing! I looked forward to it every evening the pressure and hot water is perfect and the quality shampoos and soaps provides smelled wonderful! The kitchen is well stocked if you are cooking during your stay. And there is……

“The deck is outstanding - we spent pretty much every moment, from morning coffee to evening cocktails, there. Super great communication with Martine, well-equipped kitchen, and all slept well. Didn't kayak (tho they were there and ready for us), but some of us went swimming and really enjoyed that. Well-appointed home, very comfortable and fun. Thank you, Martine”

We needed to get our annual planning for 2025-26 done quickly and the best way to do that was to get away from our day-to-day lives and location.Linda's home is lovely, extremely comfortable and has ideal amenities and is a perfect balance between quiet and easily accessible.We had a great visit! “Location was good, nice view, but I didn’t realize highway 20 was just 40 yards below the deck, thus somewhat noisy outside. The host was wonderful, very responsive and accommodating, couldn’t ask for more. There was some dirt on blinds and window sills, but not bad. The neighborhood was ok, a few abandoned homes down the road, but nice homes surrounding the house. Overall a good stay, we went to Blue Lakes lodge to swim the next day, nice… ”
