"Absolutely loved the hotel experience & massage treatment. We could not fault it. Hotel staff were polite, professional & helpful. The one & only thing that was disappointing was the neglected condition of the swimming pool & jacuzzi facilities. Unfortunately the standards of this let down the high standards of the hotel & massage therapy facilities. Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone & would stay again."

"We stayed here one night to visit the cathedral, and I would stay here again! The staff was so helpful and attentive, the room was comfortable, and the location is great for dining spots and walking to the cathedral. The rooftop bar next door, which (at the time we went) gave discounts to hotel guests, has amazing night views of the cathedral!"

"I've stayed here on a number of occasions over the last decade and a bit. I've always found it to be friendly, with good beer and good food. My only reservations are that in colder months, the chalets can be a bit on the cool side despite having heaters. However, on this occasion, I was in one of the newer rooms and the bathroom was nice and warm in the morning and best of all contained a walk-in shower stall, far better than clambering over a bath tub! The pub itself has remained a decent hostelry, with a good choice of drinks. There is always a good local beer or two on tap. The food is usually very good, if a bit on the pricey side. I had calf's liver the first night which was very tasty and well presented. Breakfasts are amongst the best I have on my travels, with all contents of the plate well cooked and presented. The staff are always friendly, chatty and helpful and I will certainly continue to stay here when down in Kent. Highly recommended also for leisure as it is positioned brilliantly for Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Chatham and the Kent Weald. Problem is I'm always at work when here!"

"The stay was great, bedding comfortable, breakfast tasty. What was a really nice touch is the person at reception remembering my name. I'm not sure if that's part of the role, or my pink cat hoodie made me difficult to forget. The only negative is that the TV didn't have chromecast built in, so I couldn't watch youtube/netflix/prime/etc "
