Overall, this was the perfect spot for our trip to the coast. It was walkable to all of Manzanita’s amenities and the views were incredible. The home could use a deep clean - dusty, some moldy spots in tub/shower, previous guests hair on the towels. These were our only complaints. Otherwise it had everything we needed and was a great location.

Great location, easy access to beach and downtown area. Stairs are numerous and can be challenging if your older. Furnishings are adequate for a stay at the beach but they have been well lived in!

Great view of the beach/surf

The view from the kitchen and living room is great, with nice big windows. There is beach access a block away. It was nice to sit in front of the gas fireplace and watch the waves while it was raining.

Manzanita getaway

We had amazing weather during our stay which was not expected so we enjoyed apps and refreshments on the deck during sunset, watching the waves on the beach. The house was comfortable for two adult couples. Thanks for a relaxing stay! -May be helpful to have a listing of the channels the TV gets as we spent time channel surfing trying to find the channel we were looking for.

Great spot for a weekend at the beach

Nice property, easy walk to businesses. Dog friendly was a must and this place was great. Little backyard up the hill was perfect for quick doggie outings. Two of the bedrooms are adjacent such that you need to walk from the outer bedroom through the inner one to get to the bathroom (or go outside and walk the wrap around deck). Something to consider if you plan on needing all 3 bedrooms for sleeping. (We didn't so it was fine). Would totally stay here again.

Amazing view, close to beach access and walkable to downtown!

This top floor unit was very well-equipped. Had ample seating (indoor and outdoor), everything (but the salt shaker) in the kitchen for making meals, lots of space, amazing coastal views, and more. This unit is very dog-friendly -- I don't think the pictures do it justice. Even though it is on the top floor there is a yard of sorts for the dog. Completely fenced in too! Not super kid-friendly but easy enough to accommodate. We brought our own baby gate for the top of the stairs and moved some glass decor out of reach. The jacuzzi tub was amazing. The shower was huge. Other than a salt shaker, I do wish there were throw blankets available. Would be nice to have a blanket to bring outside to shield from the harsh winds. Regardless it was amazing. Thanks Vacasa!

5 Stars with Reservations

Incorrect instructions on how to enter property and location of lock box. Front door up one set of stairs on left side of building and lock box mislabeled, It's not the top one but bottom one? Master bedroom slider jammed closed. We got it opened a little the second day, but there's no screen. None of the windows open in this room. It's the only ventilation it has. We couldn't leave it open without the screen because a family of racoons had eaten through the screen in the kitchen and entered to eat our dog food so we couldn't sleep with a screenless slider open. The oven didn't work properly. It doesn't hold the temperature and it would lock at random times. This ruined our first night's dinner. It deserves 5 stars for location and access to the beach, but the deferred maintenance should be considered.

We arrived to a lovely home with a nice view. We opened the dishwasher, which had been run, we suspect without soap. The dishes were greasy and had dried on food. We had to soak and wash by hand. I pulled out a frying pan from the cupboard that was dirty with dried on food. I sent pictures to vacasa.
