“Belle chambre au calme ”

“It’s a run down hotel with disorganised staff and in need of maintenance. Cleaning staff were ok but cleaning was not great! However for a super cheap hotel in a good location we rated it higher. This hotel has had its day and needs a good splash of paint, a thorough deep clean and new management, just a few tweeks, we would have happily paid more for its location and rated it so much better had a bit of care and attention to detail been given!”

“We had a lovely family holiday here! Some of the reviews worried me a little bit i cant lie, but there was no need!! It was coean, comfortable and well suited for us. The pool was lovely, the beach was very pleasant. Thw staff were always friendly and helpful and the snack bar food was very nice x”

“El resort en si es bonito: las zonas verdes, piscinas, buen restaurante .. todo ok. No hay tienda o superette como anuncian en los carteles, ni pan por la mañana por lo que hay que ir a buscar los croissants y el pan a 2 kilómetros . El apartamento tenía muchas carencias. La anunciada máquina "Nespresso" no existía. Había una máquina de café con filtro , pero no tenía filtro. La grifería estaba medio rota y una de las 2 sarténes estaba bien rayada. Faltaba de todo en la cocina, no había ni……

“Bonjour bon séjour malgré petit déjeuner catastrophe. A 9h30 plus aucune vienoiserie nis jus de fruits ni jambon ni fromage. Un gros dommage”

“Positives - The balcony is genuinely useful for drying clothes and towels. On-site parking is a major plus in Hossegor as street parking is a nightmare, though spaces fill quickly. The location itself is excellent and easily walkable to both the lake and town centre. Negatives - Check-in & Access: The door code didn't work. We had to trek back to reception, which is in a different building on a different street—information you only discover after arrival. They issued a replacement……

“El check in es a las 17h y el Out a las 10h. Te tienes que poner tus propias sábanas en literas imposibles, luego quitarlas y llevarlas a otro edificio antes de irte. Poner tu bolsa de basura y al salir llevarla al contenedor. Te piden que limpies el wc, la cocina, y que barras y friegues el suelo. No dejan ni un gel de manos pero si tres escobas para limpiar y un sobre de fregasuelos. Entonces en 17 horas que me dejan estar en el alojamiento que hago? Limpiar? Así que nadie limpia y todo……

“So the room had sand all on the floor which I hoovered up myself, none of the beds were made, sheets were left for me to do this. The bedroom backed onto a stairwell with associated noise and a very bright light. So the dilemma was window open and ventilation (no air con) but then it was bright and noises….at checkout I was told I could leave until later as my room had to be checked. I was wearing tight biking gear and asked where I could hide anything stolen? No view from room either. Avoid is……

“Lit très confortable. Chambre et salle de bain propres avec télé murale et bureau. Le balcon donnant directement sur le lac n'est pas pour déplaire et permet un bon dépaysement. Le salon avec restaurant est relativement chic et harmonieux. Quant à l'extérieur avec piscine chauffée, jacuzzi et transats, il vous permet un bon moment de détente. Enfin, nous sommes très bien accueillis par la réceptionniste bien souriante et serviable. Merci pour vos services.”

“While the hotel was absolutely lovely and the staff very friendly, we were very disappointed. We booked the hotel as we wanted to play golf and given it was a golf hotel, we thought it would be perfect. Unfortunately on arrival we were informed that the golf course would be closed for our entire five night stay. I think we should have been informed in advance and we could have booked an alternative hotel near the area with other golf courses.”
