Riad Beata was one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech. The breakfast served on the terrace, included with the stay, became our favorite part of each morning. The riad itself is stunning. The décor, architectural details, and atmosphere made it feel like a small palace hidden within the Medina. The location is within walking distance of many of Marrakech’s attractions. While the final few minutes between the taxi drop-off point and the riad can feel unfamiliar, especially at night, we quickly became comfortable with the area. Upon arrival, Mohamed, the on-site caretaker, met us at the taxi drop-off point and walked us to the riad. After our first day, we had no concerns walking to and from the Riad on our own, including in the evenings. The was in a residential neighborhood, with local families going about their daily lives. As 3 women traveling together, we never felt unsafe.
The staff was hardworking, welcoming, and hospitable throughout our stay. Mohamed was helpful with transportation, local advice, and activity bookings. The room was comfortable thanks to excellent air conditioning, and we also appreciated having an oscillating fan. The shower provided hot water, and the riad offered a peaceful retreat after busy days exploring Marrakech in June.
We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Riad Beata to anyone looking for a beautiful, authentic, and welcoming place to stay in Marrakech.
