"Valet staff were terrific, front desk not so much. Didn't like that nothing was was free- except air we breathe everything was charged. Simply include in the overall price, so I don't have to go through the humiliation of getting evicted for sitting absently under an umbrella. Beach view was incrdedible, the sand was gorgeous, the wildlife was remarkable. Hawaii is truly a special place."

"Very beautiful property overall and great location! The one bedroom suite was perfect for our family of 4 with two teens. Really loved the restroom in our suite. Huge and had some nice upgrades like motion censored lights when you entered. The outside walking path was wonderful along the coast, and we took advantage of that. Staff was extremely helpful and I left a ballcap one day at the beach and one of the beach staff members kept it safe for me. Our 16 year old also lost her AirPod case which thankfully was personalized and the hotel found that for us as well. The free shuttle service to other nearby resorts and dinner spots was great. The staff at Pilina was terrific. The Pizza in the market was a hit and our teens enjoyed it multiple times. The server at Ko was great and high energy and helped customize our meal choices. Some areas for improvement- the hotel did not offer any fresh green juices. We like to have those in the morning at breakfast and there wasn’t any on the entire premises. Also, the cabanas were all in loud areas around the main pools with kids screaming in the pool and throwing balls that were hitting our chairs. We reserved 4 days of cabanas and finally cancelled day 4 because they just weren’t relaxing in the locations they were placed in. We have a 16 and 17 year old and when we booked the 4 cabanas we asked to book them at the adult pool but were told no since our kids aren’t 18. Terrible. Our kids are quiet so this was a miss. Great trip otherwise! "

"Jasmine and Fe were very helpful. Jasmine helped me out finding leis and Fe was very supportive of checking out. We will definitely be back. The staff was very friendly and helpful, grounds were clean and walking distance to a very calm beach, really great if you have little kids "

"Overall, a very nice stay in a beautiful location with great proximity to nearby attractions. The room was spacious and offered a lovely ocean view. My only suggestion would be to improve accessibility—having a more direct connection from the other buildings to the lobby would make it much more convenient, as getting there currently requires multiple elevators and can be quite time-consuming."

"Absolutely terrible. I had to wake up every morning and line up at 6:15 am to get pool chairs. The hotel charges for beach chairs which I never encountered with other hotels. The staff is not so friendly, especially the concierge named "Sharp" (?) that she should not be in this business. The restaurants including Loulu were overpriced with not so great food. I live in OC, CA and we have an access to beach and we have a pool at home. If I have to line up in the morning to reserve pool chairs and pay for beach chairs, I don't know why we had spend so much money to stay at this hotel."
