“Beautiful property and room! The pools are plentiful and never felt crowded—we saw a monkey! Treat yourself to an evening sunset by the lobby bar—breathtaking! The beach is ona beautiful cove. My kids enjoyed the rocky areas for “tidepooling” for hermit crabs, fish, etc. There is a nice reef right off the beach where daily snorkeling activities are available. “La route pour se rendre à l’hotel est terrible et dangereuse, il y a des trous énormes… Les chambres sont rustiques mais suffisantes. L’aménagement exterieur est magnifique, sources thermales, piscines et belle vegetation. Le restaurant est assez ordinaires pour le prix, beaucoup de nos plats étaient trop cuit ou brûlée. “We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. The dinner and breakfast was prepared for us by wonderful staff, and they catered for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our family group, including our 2-yr old grandson. “Booked this place for 3 people, total 1 week stay. I paid over $6000 for three of us to be all inclusive. Once we got there they told us all inclusive includes Smirnoff vodka, and any drinks under 12$. So they have all their drinks at over $13+. Basically we stayed for a week, at checkout i was given a $1,516.00 bill on top of the $14k i paid to stay here for a week. Staff was great. BE AWARE OF THE SURPRISE BILL during checkout. “Love this place. The owner was very helpful and hospitable, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The property offers plenty of trails and activities, so there’s really no need to leave—you can fully enjoy your time right there. Also, the food at the restaurant is excellent. Highly recommend.”

“Just a heads up for English speaking travelers, that only one peraon who worked there spoke a little English, which is understandable but just an fyi. It made check-in a little difficult. The shower did not really work. I was only there for a day. It is nice for a more rugged kind of place. A little run down, but unique. The people where nice and helpful despite the language barrier. Again, I am not saying the people who live in rual Costa Rica should know how to speak English of course, but……

“We’ve payed around 5000 dollars to enjoy 3 days and 2 nights, considering that we were star class, the check-in process was fine, they explained us our benefits, etc… During this period of time, the food was awful. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner is this So Cal Buffet, and the quality of the food was horrible. The food was cold, cheap, disgusting and even hard to even look at or swallow.
