“Perfect stay especially the food and views”

“Kruger park was only about 20 minutes away by drive. All of the staff were wonderful. So friendly. Whatever you wanted, they would get for you. I couldn’t single out one staff member because they were all perfect. The suites are gorgeous and spotless with a wonderful view of the Sabe River. The food was excellent and so plentiful. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay to get to Kruger and experience the game drives. The drivers were excellent and it was easy to see their love for……

“The property was really clean and had good amount of towel plates cutleey etc. the major issue we had was that the roof was leaking everywhere in most rooms. One of the beds was wet and we slept with water dripping next to us the enter night. When I raised it with the reception, there was no apology for the inconvenience but only stating that it was the thatched roof. If they know about the leaks, they should maintain the roof.”

“My family and I stayed in one of the two-bedroom chalets. The property was clean and well maintained. Dining at the resort restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Overall a very comfortable night's stay.”

“The first room I was put in had a overwhelming mouldy smell, to the extent that I actually found mould on the furniture - this is highly unacceptable. The bathroom was mouldy, the shower head was super clogged/calcified, and the general condition of the room was just not up to Southern Sun standards. Also the door to the room’s lock was missing/not working. Never again.”

“The hotel is located near Kruger National Park. The staff helped make our safari experience special from the moment we arrived until our last day. The rooms were very comfortable and included air conditioning, an indoor shower and bathtub, a private outdoor shower, a sinks, and a nice-sized bed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared every day. Overall, it was a great experience staying at this safari camp, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”
