This place was fantastic, if a bit aged. We had an issue with a room, and they promptly moved us to a new room with no hassle. The food was mixed, so would recommend trying to find elsewhere

I want to express my disappointment regarding the service I received during my recent stay at your property. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we arrived around 7:00 PM for a one-night stay. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, and we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities as planned. However, I had a conversation with the receptionist, and she kindly agreed to grant us a late check-out. Since we were scheduled for a safari in Kruger Park the next morning, this was very much appreciated. We left for the safari at 5:30 AM and returned around 12:30 PM. Upon checking in at the reception, we were informed that we needed to vacate our room by 1:00 PM. This meant we only had about half an hour to pack up and shower, which felt rushed, especially after an early start. At exactly 1:00 PM, while I was in the shower, the receptionist repeatedly called my room, threatening to charge extra fees unless I left the room immediately. I was left with wet hair and was forced to carry my clothes in my hands, all while struggling to pack up my belongings and get to my car. This level of urgency and lack of consideration was completely unacceptable, especially after the understanding we had regarding the late check-out. Given the significant amount of money we spent on this stay, this experience was extremely disappointing. I have never encountered such poor service and a lack of empathy at a hotel. Safari was overpriced and lacked experience of the park and the truck they used was overheating

Tosi mukava hotelli, aika hiljainen ja rentouttava, joten sopii hyvin esimerkiksi pariskunnille. Ravintolassa vähän hidas palvelu mutta siisteys, 24h respa ja turvallisuus oli suurta plussaa.

Really lovely and as good as ever.

Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger.

very disappointing - the rooms m needed a thorough clean - tiles in shower had mildew and cobwebs in the room, carpets smelt musty. paving on pathway covered with moss- hazardous. needs a good scrubbing. worst was the lack of food. we were told that they had 2 hake, 1 steak, no burgers etc yet they were on the menu. no tomato sauce , jam

Nice to return back

Nice to return back to the hotel to see the nothing had been change. The same old good hotel. The only thing I would recommended to improve is the the food at the dinner.

Great overall ... with a couple suggestions

We Loved this hotel! The rooms were great, the bathrooms were clean with great water pressure in the showers. The food and location was perfect. It was fun to see the monkeys in property and the Elephants from the next property while on property. To improve: make sure electricity is working in all rooms - my friend has not electricity and then no outlets working in her 2 rooms. Ours though was great. Also, check in and front desk service was very slow - it seemed the staff strugled with the PCs. The food service staff and the bell staff were FANTASTIC. If we go back we will want to stay here again.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at! I was not expecting this based on the good reviews, however upon check in and check out we were urged to write positive reviews about the hotel online.... the pool area is nice, but that is it. The rooms are small, dirty and disgusting. I could not wait to leave! There is one restaurant on the property, which I was actually looking forward to based on reviews. The night we were there, they only offered the buffet option, which ended up being more expensive than many of our other meals in South Africa. We were worried to get food poisoning from the buffet food and barely ate! Not worth it! Stay elsewhere.

Gutes Hotel am Krüger Park

Wir haben dort 6 Nächte verbracht und waren über die Anlage angenehm überrascht, obwohl die Zufahrt (mehr ein Feldweg) nicht gerade einladend ist. Die Anlage ist sehr weitläufig und bietet fast alles (Pool, Tennis, sehr gutes Restaurant). Von hier haben wir Ausflüge zum Krüger National Park und zum Blyde River Canyon gemacht, aber vor allem haben wir Golf gespielt neben den Krokodilen und Hippos.
