“The bathroom needs a lot of work. The toilet rocked every time I sat down, the tub wasn't clean enough to take a bath in, and the wallpaper was peeling. I had to clean around the sink before we used it. The shower faucets needed some manipulation to turn on and off. We could hear the music playing in the lobby all night, but it wasn't loud enough to keep me awake. The staff was good and the breakfast was great. ”

“Everything about our stay at the Duke Mansion was wonderful. Talk about Southern hospitality! We felt welcomed with the spacious room, comfy bed, friendly staff and beautiful gardens.
