「Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat.」

For a pet room no bowls, bed or cookies were in the room. No breakfast was available and although coffee could be made the room had no milk or powdered creamer. 「We stayed in the Point Cabrillo room. It had a great view of the Pacific across California 1. The view could be admird through the sliding glass door or from the small porch. The two double beds were adequate and the room was sufficiently roomy and very comfortable. The property is a bit worn, but is clean and functional. Onsite staff was very helpful. The location is quiet. The walls are a bit thin and we could tell our neighbors were talking, but it was not bad. The Wi-Fi could be improved....
