「Very large, clean and comfortable room. Staff were outgoing and attentive to any of our needs. I was hoping for a more authentic castle experience, but furnishings were basic and a bit worn out. The restaurant service was slow due to under-staffing, but the staff were all friendly and engaging and the food was good. Overall, a comfortable stay, but don't expect much of an experience.」

「Excellent hotel for those like myself who are disabled. Comfy rooms, great pub adjacent, designed for assessibility in mind. Pleasant safe neighborhood.」

「Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, da behindertengerecht. Es war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet. Das Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich, das Frühstück reichlich und gut. Einziger Mangel, die Toilettenspülung, eine Zumutung. Nicht effektiv und egal ob mit oder ohne Behinderung, eine Herausforderung. Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, würden es wieder buchen.」

Owners were very welcoming and made us aware of all relevant information, I.e. heating, dining, check out, car parking. We had a delicious breakfast and would certainly recommend and visit again.」

「Lovely stop at Kippin and a good dinner. Friendly welcoming staff. Property needs a bit of TLC now but was still great.」

「Have biked for a day, nothing better than a cup of tea and a hot shower. There was no kettle until one was produced after an hour and the shower remained cold during all our stay! We also looked forward to a nice evening meal but owing to a large golfing party present it apparently was impossible to find a table for 2 and the nearest hotel / restaurant was closed due to a function. This necessitated a long walk to find an evening meal!」
