My sofa had crumbs and left over trash in side it on top of the shower not getting hot this was the first hotel I just did not feel was clean the hallways smelled of mildew and at 400 plus a night for the rockstar suite my tv did not even work this was truly my worse hotel experience and I had high hopes I chose to stay here for my birthday

Did not get an ocean view, they were not cleaned and ready at 2 pm. Wayward, alfred, a poolside room quix, turned out to be right above.The pool area, which was also right above the party area.Music and very loud noise went on until three a m on saturday night. We actually went out and bought earplugs. Follow the ocean view room and booking the hotel.No offer of a price refund was given. The hotel is very much a party hotel which it was listed as being adult friendly.But the pool area and stuff was loud.And ongoing throughout the night.

If you’re looking for luxury and cleanliness, I would not recommend staying here. The property is extremely outdated and poorly maintained. Check-in time was 4 PM, but our room was not ready. When we were finally given keys, the room was still dirty from the previous guest. We were then transferred to the Essex at Clevelander, but when we arrived there, that room had also not been cleaned by housekeeping. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes before we could check in. The toilet barely works and takes several flushes to fully clear. There is also almost no storage space for clothes; only one very small drawer. The elevator made loud, strange noises and every time it stopped, it felt like the entire thing shook before the doors opened. The day before we left, we left the room around 11:30 AM and returned at 5 PM, and it still had not been cleaned. We left again to give housekeeping more time, but when we came back an hour later, the room still had not been serviced. Very disappointing experience overall. I would not stay here again.

The pool is very old, but it is more about the atmosphere. It actually does not look clean at all, but a few people got in. The allure to this property is it’s location and the fact that they have a DJ playing all day long. So if you’re looking to get some sleep or take a nap during the day, be mindful that this is a party hotel and that the music is playing all day and all night. Very fun late night vibe!

Checkin was easy and Michelle was awesome, she was very helpful and made it easy through my stay. If i stay here again i will book another room as a solo traveler i booked a single room and assigned a room that was separated from main building. Room was freezing couldn't adjust temp, maintenance did come to adjust although went right back down to 64. Room was small. I also went to the pool area and bar - did not feel welcomed two staff members saw me and never approached me so i left. I did return a month later with a friend and the same thing happened. I really wanted to like the outdoor amenities. Maybe 3rd time will be a charm. Also, great location, 10th street beach entertances right across the street. They also have bikes for guest to check out and towels for beach.

Location 5/5! Staff were so friendly, we were able to check in early (thank you Michelle for taking care of us!), pool view room - small but served its purpose. Welcome drinks were a bonus!

The ocean was sort of visible- the windows were so dirty, and lots of trees in the way. The ocean is across a busy street. They charged a “resort fee”. It is not really a resort. We didn’t get free chairs on the beach or anything . Beach towels- big deal. The swimming pool was tiny and in the middle of 3 outside bars- people coming and going all day, open to the public - so no privacy or relaxation. Also we did not realize that “ adults only “ meant super loud techno music till 2 am blasted by the DJ in the pool/bar area. This is just a party hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone. The room was fine but the hotel was not.

The room needed a total remodel. Cold, hard floors, neglected beyond belief, yet has so much potential. Tiny Television Inconvenient USB and light controls Stiff mattress with uncomforting blankets and sheets Balcony had years worth of stains on the lounger pillows The bathroom was straight out of a 1930's State prison. So much potential....but for the price the potential should have already been fulfilled.

The location is absolutely perfect — close to everything and incredibly convenient. The hotel is super clean, and you can truly relax and enjoy every part of your stay. The most impressive part, though, is the service, especially at the front desk. A very special thank you to Michelle for her kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality.
