This condo is located directly on the sand in beautiful Hollywood Beach.
The association is very helpful with vacation rental clients and there is a check-in process so you can get door fobs for common areas and park a car for a valet fee.
LIVING AREA:
- Formal dining room seats up to 6
-Couch with a large TV.
- Premium air mattress available for 2 additional guests upon request for a $25 delivery charge

KITCHEN: Fully stocked chef’s kitchen has all top of the line appliances and features. Coffee machine, tea kettle, toaster, blender, Ice maker, cookware, glassware, dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water dispenser, freezer, and microwave.

BEDROOMS: (2)
- Both bedrooms have Smart TVs.
- Pac and Play and high chair are provided

BATHROOMS: (1.5)
-All bathrooms are provided with a starter set of toiletries (TP, soap) and plush towels. A hairdryer is also available.

INTERNET: Highspeed and wireless throughout.

CLEANING:
- All of our properties are professionally cleaned and sanitized up to CDC guidelines and inspected before each stay to ensure your safety.
- Starter dishwasher pods are provided
- Washer and dryer with a starter set of laundry pods provided.

LOGISTICS:
- Check-in: 4:00 PM.
- Check-out: 11:00 AM.
- An early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about availability and pricing.

TV's: 3 SmartTVs with access to log into your favorite streaming channels.

COMMON AREAS: Two heated pools, two fitness centers, 24 hour valet. Lush tropical grounds have 4 tiki huts, outdoor lounge areas and direct beach access. Please note there is no lifeguard on duty and we ask that all guests enjoy the pool responsibly. The property owner is not liable for any pool-related accidents, drowning, or bodily harm/personal injuries. No diving is permitted. No glass is permitted in or near the pool, the kitchen is supplied with plastic cups.

GARBAGE: Garbage Shute by the laundry room

PARTIES & EVENTS: We do not allow parties, receptions or events. The unit is located in a residential condo and local ordinances dictate no excessively loud music or noise after 10PM. This is our most important rule that can result in the termination of your reservation along with additional fees. If you ever have any specific requests feel free to ask us.

PARKING: Valet for a fee depending on length of stay.

PETS: No pets are permitted in the unit.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS: ValGal isn’t responsible for any package delivery or personal belongings left at the property after check out.

We enjoyed our stay, the view and the place was great! We have stayed at the Tides for a couple of years. The host was great and attentive. The Tides is great and convenient. Getting your fob and parking pass can be annoying. The elevators can get busy with people coming and going. Besides that we love it!

Perfect for what we needed

We stayed at this property while in town for a dance competition that took place at the Diplomat. The location was absolutely perfect, a few buildings down from where we needed to be.The pool was great, plenty of available chairs and I loved how the condo had plenty of pool towels available for use! If you want to rent chairs or an umbrella for the beach you have to do that in the office in advance.The kitchen had plenty of essentials needed for the basics and the fridge was nice and clean.Check in and parking were described well in prior check in emails and we had no issues receiving a fob or laundry card from the office (which is in the other building over).I marked low on cleanliness specifically because this unit could really use a massive deep clean. The walls, baseboards, and floors in general really need more attention and care. (Maybe due for a fresh coat of paint?)Overall the condo was exactly what we were expecting.

Worst Property Management and Staff

The Good- The unit was nice and clean. All amenities in the unit were present as advertised. The Bad- Instructions from the host for check in were vaguely detailed. Even with instructions, it took us 60-90 minutes, conversations with 5 condo staff members, and trips to two different buildings before we were even allowed to go up to our room. Elevators would not stop on our floor (even with the security key fob) so we had to carry our bags up the stairs. Condo staff was incredibly rude for our entire stay. We were forced to pay 100 for “valet parking” for the week, but it’s actually a fee for on-site self parking, not valet. Not only that, we had to pay 20 “cash only” deposit to rent a tag to access the parking lot. Staying at the north tower, we went down to the beach to rent chairs and umbrella. We were told we had to go back to the south tower office to get it. I went back to our room and got 25 cash, took it to the office, and was told they don’t take cash-after they had just taken our cash for the parking tag. With poor elevators and back-and-forth between buildings, it took over 45 minutes just to get beach chairs. We have stayed at several beachfront condos throughout the US, and this property was by far the worst experience. The unit is nice, but it’s not worth the headache from property management. 0/10, would not recommend.

Lovely condo, but property itself was inconvenient.

The condo was clean, well stocked, and great proximity to the beach. There were beach chairs and an umbrella in the condo, which was very nice to have. The coffee shop in the lobby was convenient and had good food. The property- The Tides - was nothing but inconvenient. There is no valet parking - you’re paying 100 to self park. There are no other parking options. There are gates all over the parking lot, and they don’t work very well. Had to get out of the car and wave our hang tag at the gate several times to get them to work. The key fobs are expensive and tiny - easy to lose. The registration office is very small and the line was clear down the hall. We were back and forth between the two buildings several times just to get checked in. There’s no music at the pool and you can’t play your own music. Most of this was disclosed in the listing, but once you live through it you realize you should have picked another place.

We arrived and spent the day at the pool while our room was cleaned. It was nice they accommodated an early check in. After the pool we went to shower and it was broken. Called the owner to hear “oh it was supposed to be fixed yesterday”. We were surprised to hear that they hadn’t checked to ensure it was fixed knowing we were staying for almost a week. The host put us in a less desirable property for the night and we ended up staying elsewhere. It was definitely a big hassle for our first night after a long travel day with two little ones. We feel it could have been avoided but we appreciated the host trying to accommodate.

Misleading Amenities & Charges

The location and cleanliness of the property is great. Very close to Hollywood Broadwalk nightlife, restaurants & clubs. The check in process is very inefficient, the staff is not super friendly & act inconvenienced by guests. They are very particular about guests using the service elevator when carrying luggage, groceries or going to/from the beach. This makes for long elevator waits & seems really inefficient when there are plenty of other elevators. If you use the wrong one, staff & residents are quick to tell you & they aren’t kind about it. There are several misleading amenities and onsite charges: -NO washer & dryer in the unit. There are 2 washers and dryers/floor. A 7.00 laundry card is needed and then you have to load onto the card to pay for the loads of laundry. The office ran out of cards & we were unable to do laundry onsite. We had to take our laundry to the laundromat, as we packed with the intention of having laundry in our unit. -Parking was listed as 75/day, but was 100 upon arrival. -Parking tag 20-Must pay 30 per key fob to enter building and go through gates. They require 1 fob for every 2 people in the group. This adds up quickly. -NO hot tub/spa as advertised -NO beach lounge chairs included. Rusty, low to the ground fold up chairs are in the closet to borrow. They are not in good condition. -NO balcony furnitureLots of extra hidden fees & lack of amenities! Unit is not ocean front; overlooks a parking lot & angled beach view.

Great for family

Our stay at this ocean view condo was great. It had all we needed for our family of six: two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, three smart TVs, full kitchen, large table, living room. We were also surprised that there were beach chairs and sand toys available for us too.

We were looking for an apartment in the area of Hard Rock stadium to stay for a few days and be able to enjoy the beach. We reached our goal to attend the soccer game final and enjoyed the stay.

Fine Details aren't outlined

Please be aware of a few things!! There are extra fees not disclosed in this property listing. First there are charges for key fobs (+$30) 2 adults can share a fob, but then anyone over 14yo must also have key fobs. As a family of 6 we were charged $90 for 3 fobs. This property is locked down and a fob is necessary for access to anything. Parking, when I booked was $75 for a week, but when I arrived, the charge was $100. There is NO washer and dryer in the unit, only on the floor. There is a $7 charge for a laundry card and then charges to use the machines. There is no hot tub, Spa, Sauna, or on-site golf. There are two pools and a poorly equipped gym. The unit was clean. But there is barely anywhere to hang towels or clothes. There is no where in bathrooms to place toiletries, like shampoo. Again, no where to hang towels or wet suits. Linens and towels are provided, but not enough to last a week without laundry. I've contacted the host over my 'complaints', and while they are responsive, they are not offering resolution. As an avid review reader, I am sharing my true experience. Again, the unit was clean, and the property was okay. The unit is very minimalist, be prepared to wash dishes and utensils. All the extra 'hidden' fees ruined this one for me.

Discounted for a reason

Let’s start with the pricing the property owner list and what u actually pay at the hotel are all wrong by about 100 dollars off. All the accommodations listed well aren’t available or there closed so the kids couldn’t use the billiards room there’s no pool sticks or balls available there’s no arcade, the movie room was closed our entire trip, never found the spa and there’s no lift in the pool if you have someone in a wheelchair or disabled that wants to swim there’s no way to accommodate for them. We had poop and seaweed coming up in our tub the second night we were there and couldn’t take a shower for two days and missed our reservations we had booked bc we had to wait on a plumber to fix this issue so we all could get ready!! I messaged about towels several times never got any response about extra towels and wash cloths. Overall this was a terrible experience the kids had nothing to do while they were at the room it rained a few days we were there! Oh and the front door sticks so bad u can’t hardly get in or out of the room it’s like ridiculous something that small someone can’t come fix. Also the light in the main bathroom didn’t work. So yes now you know why your getting a discounted price so beware you’ll be over charged at the hotel from valet parking your forced to pay and key fob pricing is wrong. And you’ll be stuck in your room with poop coming out it bath tub!
