Mid Glamorgan Bar Hotel

"The property was a calm, inviting base with fantastic spa facilities and mouth watering menus, even on my first night when the restaurant wasn’t open but ate in the comfortable bar area. My bedroom was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you would need in a bedroom/ensuite. "

"Part of the Wyndham chain, this hotel is situated just off a roundabout on some main roads with a good sized car park nice and close to the entrance which was fortunate due to the monsoon weather. I was greeted warmly on check-in . The room was smart and clean although the window was quite an old wooden frame. The hotel had a decently equipped gym which I made full use of. The shower was so good that I had to turn down the pressure which is a first for a hotel shower. I slept well in a very comfy king sized bed. Breakfast was on a buffet basis with plenty of options available and was delicious. Outside of tired décor in the corridors and some mold on the bathroom sealant, everything ensured I have a fantastic overnight stay and I would look to stay here again given the chance."

"Nice clean large room. The fridge was a big bonus. Excellent shower which was much appreciated after a long day walking. We were led to believe from the hotel.com web site that there is Wifi only in public areas but in fact there was wifi all over the the guest house including the rooms. And it was super fast wifi. I was able watched Netflix on my ipad and all the football matches I wanted to watch. Moyra (the owner), is a lovely friendly lady, as her staff. Breakfast was fabulous, continental and cooked what ever you choose or both. We will definitely come back as we have few more walks to complete in the area. Thank you Moyra for a lovley weekend. "Beautiful place to stay "

"Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "

"Based on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. "
