「The room was clean and tidy, however when we stayed last year we had bottles of water in our room but this was not the case this time, I brought my own last year but didn't this year as I thought that bottles of water would be in our room. I also requested an extra pillow as the 2 pillows I had were flat, reception made a note of this but the pillow never arrived. Staff were all very welcoming, helpful and pleasant. 「It was pleasant enough. The staff we encountered were really friendly. The decor is a bit dated. Smelt a bit fusty … but it’s an old building so what do you expect. Lovely grounds. I struggled to sleep as the bed was too soft for me (personal preference). Not sure I’d stay again but did the job for the evening.」
