"Room: clean and tidy, spacious for 2 people to stay, spacious bathroom, bed is a bit low (quite close to the floor), pillows are soft (not so supportive for the neck), nice and dark when you close all the curtain Staff: very friendly, can speak good English Amenities: No water or coffee supplied in room (tap water is drinkable), plenty of towels in bathroom with hair dryer, has a vending machine for drinks and laundromat on another floor, plenty of books for you to read (only in Japanese), there is a bar/cafe on the ground floor Location: 3 minutes walk from the nearest metro station (Kujo station), 9 minutes walk from Kyoto station, 2 convenience stores nearby * The building right next to the hotel is under some construction work when I visit. Noises are expected but bearable and this is definitely not the hotel’s fault (saw someone blaming the hotel for this)."
