Fall 2023 Miramar Beach

This is the second year in a row staying in a Vacation Haven rental (different units each time). We really enjoyed our stay. Very room for a family of 5. Very convenient to beach access especially with the very nice golf cart. Plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. Everything worked smoothly. Looking forward to another stay next year in a MVH property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect little cottage. The golf cart was great for getting around and we loved the screened in porch! Our key code stopped working one day and the customer service was great! They were quick and determined to solve the problem and they did! No complaints!

Nice location and quiet but golf cart broke first day and floors need cleaned a lot better. We couldn’t go barefoot cause turned black from dirt. Beds were so so.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and having a laundry room to keep up with the sandy laundry was wonderful. The golf cart was a wonderful addition to allow easy access to the entire resort. It should be noted that if you intend to cook many meals and eat in the home that it is lacking some basics (only 4 forks) but there were only 3 of us so I was able to make due. Also the other thing that I feel like needs pointing out is the master bathroom with the full glass walk in shower is attached to the room with 2 twin beds and the other bathroom is closer to the main bedroom but not directly attached. The listing clearly states the nicer bath as the master bath but that is not the case. Other than those 2 things I was very satisfied with the property.

DO NOT USE VACATION HAVEN FOR ANY RENTALS...

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very nice and clean. Pictures were a little misleading as it pertains to which bathroom went with the Master Bedroom. One of the main reasons for renting this unit was the 6 passenger golf cart that came with the unit. We checked into the Unit on July 4th. Drove the Golf cart to Publix's and back. Morning of July 5th, Cart would not go forward only reverse. After 15-20 minutes, finally was able to get the cart to move forward. Used the cart to drive over to the public beach next to the Hilton. While driving the cart back that afternoon (5pm time frame) to the unit, one of the battery's on the cart explodes. This left me and my family stranded on the side of the road about 150 yards from the Guard Shack. We then had to proceed to walk all the way back to the unit which was at least 1.75 miles, carrying our beach chairs, cooler and towels. Needless to say, not happy. When I spoke with Katlyn from Vacation Haven, she was apologetic but then hung up on me while I was trying to explain to her where I left the golf cart. I then called her back, told her where the golf cart was. Then I inquired as to when we might receive a replacement to use for Saturday July 6th. Nothing...I received zero communications from Vacation Haven after I spoke to Katlyn for a second time Friday evening. I reached to Vacation Haven via a text and received nothing back. Again, I have no issues with the Unit my family and I stayed in. My issue is with Vacation Haven, there are way too many other rental companies to use. I will never use them again, EVER.
