This is a nice place to stay. The staff are kind, and the beds are phenomenal. The ease of walking everywhere was a plus as well. The parking lot is viewable from most rooms, which was a plus as as well!

We stay here at times when we go to monterey. Although a bit farther from center of action on cannery row, still walkable and convenient. There is a nice little beach yards from building. Street traffic can be a bit noisy at times, but generally not bad. Staff are always friendly and helpful and rooms are spacious and clean and have all needed conveniences like microwave mini fridge, and coffee maker (hint: they also have free coffee and cocoa in the machine in office which is very nice!). Only bummer is you now have to pay for parking (used to be free), but it is still cheaper than what the other hotels there charge...and much cheaper and more convenient than public parking in the area (which can be hard to find on a busy day!) We park at hotel and never need to move car to enjoy all cannery row has to offer. Not as new or fancy as some places and not a full service spa resort...but much better price than those places and a nice place to lie your head at the end of a busy day.

Nice person at front desk in evening. Clean room, fast efficient check in, supportive, helpful, perfect room. Clean room. I could not ask for anything more. its my favorite place to stay.

Loved the location, right in the middle of the Wharf and Cannery shops and walking/biking trail. We had a partial ocean view and fireplace which we enjoyed. The balcony is small, but there are other areas with outside seating. The room itself was clean and while not spacious, had everything we needed (body soap, shampoo & conditioner). Would definitely stay here again!

Great walking distance from cannery row, the aquarium, and several other shops and restaurants around the area. You always have a parking spot here. The room itself was nice, the bathroom spacious. you have a fridge, freezer, and microwave. The check in and out was SUPER easy.

What a great location!! The team that works there was outstanding. Great pricing for that week of the car show! A few things maybe Newer beds need to be brought in. Ours was not that great. The bird droppings all over the stairs and the tables / chairs made it not the best experience but over all 5 stars !!

We liked the location and the easy parking. We did ot like the in-room coffee maker or the fact that our disabled parking did not waive the hotel's parking fee. There waas also a request to pay a $200.00 deposit, when we had already paid for the room in full.

mittelmäßiges, in die Jahre gekommenes Motel. Zimmer im 1. Stock recht lieblos und sehr hellhörig (vom Nachbarn von obendrüber war jeder Schritt zu hören). Ausgangslage aber sehr gut, Attraktionen des Ortes sind alle fussläufig zu erreichen. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten mit Direktzugang zu den Zimmern.

Loved that the innkeeper recommended an excellent restaurant. Didn’t love the rickety elevator or the fact that our screen door did not shut properly so we had to use the AC.

Super convenient, less than a mile from everything. Beach and park directly across the street. Not a 420 friendly property but plenty of areas right across from property. We had King deluxe with fireplace and partial ocean view. The room was very clean and bed was comfy but it is a very basic room and on the smallish side. Not a great choice if you want to stay in and enjoy a room, absolutely perfect if you want a clean, safe, nice place to sleep and setup 'base' to explore the area.
