It was good as far as it went. I was disappointed to find no breakfast, and while the lobby had chairs, it was was suitable for waiting temporarily, not a place to sit and relax and play cards, for example. Nevertheless, the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff were commendable.

Our stay here was excellent. The room was clean and spacious. We loved that there was not carpet in the rooms. The only downside was that you can clearly hear the people above you and beside you whenever there was any sort of movement. You couldn't really hear voices, but you could hear them walking around and moving things and flushing the toilet. We loved the little latte machine in the lobby area!

The hotel was more of a motel style layout where you entered the rooms from the outside. We were able to park in front of our rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the staff was friendly and helpful; the pool is small. Conveniently located for our visit to the Moneterey Bay Aquarium, and the beaches.
