「What a wonderful experience staying in Monterosso! The apartment was a lovely base for exploring the beauty of Cinque Terre, with its charming streets, wonderful restaurants, and breathtaking coastal scenery. Staying here gave us the opportunity to experience the slower pace of life in this beautiful part of Italy. We loved exploring the villages during the day and returning to Monterosso in the evenings. A little note about the steps: Yes, there are 79 steps to reach the apartment, but don’t...

「137 stairs to access so be ready to sweat carrying your luggage up. The walk from the train station isn’t bad until you get to the stairs to the building. But that’s is to be expected in Cinque Terre and you are rewarded by the view which was quintessential Cinque Terre. The balcony was lovely especially in the evening. During our stay it was hot so the fans were helpful but it was still quite warm. The rooms were very spacious and nicely appointed. The steps didn’t bother us coming and going...

「Zero check in which had us waiting and Jo entry late, they sent details only at 18.00…. Which we never received, then they tried to contact me 10 times, at incorrect number. Apartment cold, bed uncomfortable, two extra fees plus local tax, so 3 extra fees, I knew about 2…. Impossible to get downstairs all the time for smoking…very long walk from station. Worst place I ever stayed!!!!!!!plus super expensive!」

Only drawback to the very quaint property is that it's small. You enter through an outer door then an inner door. On the right there's a combination desk/eating surface that's good for two only, a cabinet on the left, along with a very small...

「The best thing about the apartment is that it's close to the beach in a quiet area. It's an easy walk to restaurants or the city center. The wifi worked great. The apartment feels adequate, but not special. For example, artwork was lacking (e.g., a small picture on a huge wall) and the couch was covered with a sheet. The bathroom throw rugs weren't clean. The toilet seat was cracked and would pinch you. The front window did not secure adequately so you must put down the shade for security. ...
