“Wifi weak, Floor water leak, Lack of maintenance, No staff for check-in midnight, Dropbox key lost during midnight check-in.”

“Made reservation and paid in full in August for December... day of i find out the hotel closed for the season in oct. ”

“Room was very clean. It was off season so we were not in the main hotel. We were put in the Coveside. No view of the ocean at all. No instructions for the coffee pot, Nespresso, ended up with water all over the counter. Vague instruction for the TV, couldn't get live sports games.”

“From the very moment I stepped inside the front lobby, everything about AWOL was amazing. Check in was a breeze and the very kind lady gave me a nice detailed tour that was also somehow quick. She even included a map for me with some suggestions as I am not from the area. The room was cozy, clean, and everything we wanted when we booked our stay. The little fireplace inside the room was also a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay here very much and I have been raving about AWOL to anyone who……

“Historic, cozy, and charming mansions and rooms...our stay was amazing. ”

“Overall, it was ok. The room had a hole in the floor that was covered by the carpet, and the sink wasn’t in the bathroom. The bathroom was small, but usable. The pool was amazing! The concrete around the pool was heaving and definitely needs to be repaired. The decking in there also needs to be repaired as we got slivers from it. There was a lot of traffic, and people outside with all of their belongings, just sitting there. Not a bad location, to the beach or other amenities, but it was ok.”

“The room was clean, but smelled of stale smoke. They were smoke free rooms. There were burn marks on the bathroom sink and night stand and the table in the room. No one ever came to the room in a 3 night stay for New towels or toilet paper. The heat worked fine. The microwave was dirty and the shower curtain had mold on it. I wiped everything down with a clorox wipes. My door had no dead bolt on it. It was broken. On the last night my neighbors were arguing all night. I was scared but……

“Our stay was great. It was a nice place to sleep and close to all the locations we wanted to explore. It was a cozy stay and the woman I was communicating with was very friendly. The motel room itself was a little old and not well lit. They did a nice job decorating but you can tell there are some fixes that need to be done. But hey, overall, I would recommend it to someone, it’s just a cozy affordable place to stay. ”

“The property is amazing and the staff were polite and very attentive. It’s a negative for me that I couldn’t take my 8 year old in the outdoor pool, but I’m sure if i wasn’t there with a child I’d appreciate a kid-free zone. The indoor pool was pretty filthy, with some wrappers and things floating in the water. The room service food was surprisingly just okay, with watery omelettes, minimalist potatoes for breakfast, a namesake pork sandwich that leaned toward a Cuban but took a left hand……

“Continental Breakfast was ok. Room could use some attention. There is no one at the front desk after 4PM and no one was there when we left at 9AM. ”
