Our trip wasn't great - though some of the issues we experienced were beyond the property owner's control.When we arrived, there was no power - a city issue with a transformer had to be repaired, which took a couple of hours. This wasn't too bad - the larger inconvenience was that the repair trucks blocked the road to the house, so we had to walk a bit to get there.The house also had ants all over the kitchen - which was pretty gross. The maintenance team came out and cleaned and sprayed, but that didn't do much.You absolutely cannot beat the views this house offers - the writing nook is really nice, and the deck has great sight lines to the beach and water.But really, my biggest complaint is that the house just felt....dirty. There were spiderwebs all over the inside and outside. The floor hadn't been swept, so there was sand in a lot of the rooms. The silverware hadn't been washed, like one of the knives still had the label on it and (I think?) peanut butter. A lot of the dishes and glasses were not the cleanest looking.There was no extra toilet paper (we bought some and left it for the next person). The property owner provided two towels and one wash cloth per couple. Just little things like that really detracted from the experience.The owners did provide a refund for one night due to the inconvenience of everything, which was definitely appreciated. I would give the house two stars based on the views and location, but I don't think I would ever go back.
