「We arrived after 7 pm and it turned out had reserved the room for Wednesday night instead of Monday night. A person associated with the restaurant which was closed on Monday, helped us. He called in to the staff and checked us into a room. Everything went so smoothly and it could have been last minute looking for a different motel. 」

「This place is a real gem in the heart of the Berkshires. It is about a 7 minute walk to Mass MOCA and about a 10 minute walk to their "downtown" area with shops and restaurants. It is about a 30 minute drive to Mount Greylock, the highest point in Massachusetts. The rooms are very spacious and very clean and each room has a porch you can enjoy. 「South Shire is a beautiful place filled with history and character. The staff were wonderful; kind and attentive. They were welcoming to us and our pup throughout the stay. We were very happy with the quality of the mattress and linens as well as the ac being nice and cold on a very hot day (not always things you find in an older bed and breakfast.) 「The Trail in Adams offered me exactly what I needed: a quiet and convenient place prepare for a day in the woods the next day. Very convenient walking to nearby restaurants, right in the middle of Adams. There was a snowstorm that night, and the walks were shoveled several times that evening and the next morning. 」
