"Only surprise was that it’s a neighborhood of condo’s as opposed to a traditional hotel. Highly recommend for families looking for a bit more calm from the big hotels in Poipu. The pools are fun. Property is on a stunning cliffs edge with a fabulous sunset. Our condo was wonderful and well equipped. It felt like a “home away from home” and is a fabulous homebase when exploring the island."

"Property itself was nice and location was relatively close to Hanalei. As long as you don’t plan on golfing, I feel like the property is a good value. The golf course is super pricey so that was kind of a bummer. I’ve played pro course for far less but I guess when you’re in paradise, be prepared to pay paradise prices."

"This was a beautiful, unique, and roomy house, full of character. It did not feel like a vacation rental. It was more like a friend with really excellent taste, and the wherewithal to indulge it, had invited us to stay in their home while they were away. The view of sea and mountains from the very comfortable lanai was a daily pleasure. The kitchen had every utensil, dish, pot, pan, and appliance a person could want to make and serve a complex meal. The house was comfortable, and the living area upstairs was especially filled with light. My personal fave may have been the bathroom with a gigantic bright yellow soaking tub overlooking a solid wall of vegetation from gigantic windows. The architecture of the house is unusual and carefully thought out, such that each room has windows on at least two sides, allowing for soft breezes to waft through. And I almost forgot to mention the yoga room, which was simple but lovely. Quirks to be aware of, especially if like us you arrive at night: the house opens onto a courtyard, and there are separate keys for the ground floor rooms (bedrooms, laundry room, and entrance to the stairs up to main living level). We were a little confused at first, but we figured it out! And the house is surrounded by lush nature, so don’t be surprised if a tiny lizard sneaks its way in at some point. Our hostess and house were extremely responsive and kind. Thank you both!"

"The home was perfect. 100 meters to the Hanalei beach, and 800 yards to the pier. Walking distance to shops, the fish market, restaurants and the farmers market. Ann was amazing and allowed our family to check in early on arrival. The washer and dryer were large and great for large groups. The Lanai with two seating areas was awesome. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had a great island and bar so the kids were served while seating. Totally would stay here again."

"Our family had an incredible time at the Tiki Home. Tiki Home is truly well set up for a family vacation in Kauai. Numerous considerations by the host really make the stay easy for a family vacation such as multiple cribs, board games, a fitness area in the house, beach toys, a wagon and chairs for the beach, bikes, etc. In addition, the home is outfitted with most everything you need, right down to spices and ziploc bags for snacks. The host was very easy to connect with, sent clear check in instructions, and was very helpful with the entire stay. We would definitely stay here again."
