The only issue we had was that none of the TVs would work and one would not even come on. But we only wanted to watch TV at night so no big issue. Great amenities. Plenty of things to do in a central location. Thank you for the stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked specifically for the hot tub being listed as an amenity but the hot tub was not available which was very disappointing. Would have loved an email with an option to stop the reservation since the hot tub was not available but we did not find this out until arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good experience, would rent this unit again. Beds were comfortable. Location is good/convenient. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The condo itself could use some minor improvements such as a better shower (pressure was minimal at best). The shower head initially leaked but we were able to secure without calling maintenance. When we arrived our floors were still rather sandy. And 1 set of sheets had stains which we switched with an unused bed. 1 elevator was broken for our entire stay which made check in very slow. Also was not aware that the beach chair/umbrella rentals setup directly in front of the tower. So you either were forced to rent or have a spot behind, not really a fan that the public beach space is 'claimed' by a rental co.

The proximity to the beach is fantastic, especially early morning sunrise and sunsets. Maintenance was called and arrived within 15 minutes (fix the air conditioner). Being close to the Garden City Pier was an added benefit. We will be back in 2026.

the room was nice and it was clean. the appliances need work. the refrigerator developed a leak. we called but it was the day before we were due to leave. not sure if they ever came and fixed it. we had a little bit of trouble with the washer and dryer. maintenance came within a day and did their best to fix it. I imagine the owners may need to have a more detailed repair or replace them. otherwise it was a nice place and we had fun during our stay.

Honestly, I was really disappointed with this unit and our stay. Upon arrival, I noticed that we could not use our master balcony door because a portable AC unit Was hooked up and Styrofoam pieces were taped together with blue painters tape to seal the hole so that the portable AC unit could work. It was a huge eyesore, although I am kind of thankful we had it because we were 2 1/2 days without air conditioner during a heat wave. While unloading all of our belongings, I had to unload a full dishwasher from the previous tenant stay. There were broken lampshades, the TVs did not work and could not figure out which remote we were supposed to use. The towel bar in the guest bath was literally hanging off of the wall, the dryer smelled like urine so much so that I did not want to wash my clothes. And the refrigerator would not stay cold and the icemaker would not work.I did call emergency services when the air wasn’t working and they sent a tech out and all he did was bump it back down to 70, which did nothing, so we woke up the next morning and it was 75 in the condo. So we had to wait another full day for them to fix the air conditioner so that it could be a comfortable temperature. They also did come fix the fridge issues and with the TV, but we were left with the eyesore in the bedroom and couldn’t use our balcony door. Yes, they somewhat fixed the issue, but never offered anything other than “sorry”. We won’t be renting this unit again, unfortunately

Large balcony, ocean view, beach access - who could ask for more?

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our week at 605 Atalaya Towers. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath condo was clean, well laid out and had everything we needed, including a full-size refrigerator, washer and dryer. The decor is beachy in a good way - tasteful and not cluttered, and the furnishings are comfortable. We appreciated that the master bedroom has a king-sized bed, and you can hear the waves as you go to sleep and wake up in the morning. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony with its amazing view of the beach, ocean and the Garden City and Surfside piers. Access to the beach is just steps away from the front door - take the elevator and walk through a short breezeway. There are faucets and a hose to rinse off those sandy feet and beach chairs when you return. The outdoor and indoor pools, along with the heated whirlpool are nice amenities. Free parking is located directly in front of the building and there’s an overflow lot across the street. Luggage carts and shopping carts are available for easy unloading. The electronic locks made check-in and check-out a breeze. The location of Atalaya Towers is great - just a short drive to Myrtle Beach (MB), Litchfield, Pawleys Island (PI) and the historic Georgetown riverfront. Murrells Inlet is the place to go for delicious, fresh seafood and lovely views of the marsh; also try The Sea Captain’s House in MB and The River Room in Georgetown. Shopping (visit The Hammock Shops in PI), putt-putt (we liked Jurassic Golf in MB), Brookgreen Gardens, and the Myrtle Beach boardwalk attractions are all within easy driving distance. We selected an off-peak time in late April for our vacation, and everything was delightfully uncrowded. The condo complex was quiet and a great place to relax. (We can’t speak to what it would be like during peak season.) We would definitely stay here again!

Health Hazard. Do not rent

This review is not a reflection of the building itself. But rather the company that owns it and their cleaning crew. I've always rented from private owners and have had great experiences. This is the first time from a company and it was horrible. They only care about the money. Even the people who run the main office downstairs said they always have complaints about the company owned condos. This place was a health hazard. The whole masters was filled with mild. Above the shower. Around all the vents in the master bedroom and bathroom. Complete black filth under the seat in the master shower. Even in the corners of the master bedroom away from the vents had mold. Don't say well the moisture. Because as soon as you see it. Which you can tell it's been there a while. You clean it to stop spreading. We couldn't even enjoy the condo. We were worried about health. And allergies were going crazy. We spent alot of time out of the condo because of it. Then the sheets on two of the beds had dark orange stains on them. So we purchased new sheets to use. The exhaust vent in the bathroom. And the door for the furnace both had about a quarter inch of dust on the fins. Have not been dusted in a long time. We pulled the pull out couch out and a crap load of old food and garbage fell all over the floor. So they do not check that after each rental. First night there we set the dishwasher and left. Came back to kitchen floor flooded. Tried again next day and same thing. So couldn't use it. Washer door wouldn't close unless you lifted up on it. Floor wasn't properly swept. Still had a good bit of sand. But I understand sand is hard to control on the beach. They know when check in day is. But they don't have anyone at the location to check you in. You have to drive to another location to get all your check in info and then go back. Only nice thing about the place was the view and balcony. And the staff that work for the building itself. Not garden city reality. If you value your health and want to injoy your vacation and not have allergy problems. Rent some place else. I will never rent from a company again and definitely not garden city. I'll be reporting the health code violations for the mold problems. And contacting garden city about a partial refund. They should be ashamed to be renting a place like that. They should value their customers health more. I havent seen that much mold since I stopped mold removal in basements.

Reviewer Comments: Great location, close to garden city pier and amusement center, Gigi's grill and ice-cream shop property was needing a bit more of a deep clean. there is a mildew problem in bathrooms and ceilings by AC vents in bedrooms. the property was well decorated. The condo building itself needs to inform the guest better about door codes and reduce lock outs. the outside doors get locked at 430 pm and door codes given to guests do not work, had to wait for people leaving property to open door and let others in.

We loved condo 605!! 3 Bedrooms is so nice and that King bed was great for sleeping!! Perfect spot for us and the place was so clean and inviting - just having a bullet for us for our smoothies was so appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked with items we use everyday. Thanks for the games and puzzles for rainy days!!We especially liked Garden City - that it was not as crowded as other places that time of year and that it has a indoor pool and whirlpool!! The hotel staff were wonderful and kept the place so clean. When I was walking the stairwells of exercise - they were even sweeping the stairwells to make it tidy and clean!!

Reviewer Comments: My family and I spent the Thanksgiving Holiday at Atalaya Tower 605 in Garden City South Carolina ( Murrells Inlet ) and enjoyed every minute that we were there. Our Condo had everything that we needed and we felt right at home. My family that lives in Myrtle Beach and Garden City could come visit us and we had plenty of room. This is one great place to stay. The only downside was the odor that came from the garbage disposal. But I also never called the property manager and reported it either. Overall this was a great place to stay and I would most definitely go back.
