Girls trip

Great stay for a girls trip! Lots of beds and baths. Each room had full length mirrors making it easy for a group of girls to get ready. House is very clean!

Fabulous Bachelorette Destination

There were 10 ladies in the house, and we had a blast with all the bedrooms and sitting areas. The closed porch and string lights were a huge hit with our group! Separate areas to chill and a beautiful back patio were necessary with a big group, and this house exceeded all of our expectations. We would all recommend anyone to stay here!

Spectacular inside and out.

This is beautiful home and an amazing location. Everything was spotless and welcoming when we arrived. The house itself is perfectly decorated and furnished. The location on the water is spectacular. The outdoor living areas were perfect for our large family to gather. The beds were all comfortable and it easily accommodated 12 people we had there. We’ll be happy to come back as often as we can.

Good Stay but Not Great

This is a nice home, and our stay was good, but there were a couple of hiccups. There are two entrances (upstairs and downstairs). The keypad didn’t work on one of them, and I tried messaging the property manager to no avail. The code did work on the upper level, so it’s a good thing we didn’t have someone in our party who could not ascend the steps. We also had to reach out to management about the linens not being very clean. There were many strands of hair on the sheets and in the shower. They came out on our 2nd day and fixed those issues. Lastly, the walls in the master bathroom could use repair and paint. Not sure if it’s water spots or mold, but it’s not becoming. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt very safe.

Great property 1 minor issue

The home was beautiful and in a great location. It would have accommodated our group of 14 100% if the pull out sofa downstairs was functional. Luckily we were prepared or our kids would have been on the concrete floor. Besides thst our stay was amazing

FLOODING and they KNEW it

Long story short, Coastal Gem property in Murrells Inlet is lovely BUT...Vacasa rented this property to us AWARE that this property is prone to flooding during king tides. A king tide was forecasted for night one of our stay (as we discovered later) and boy did it FLOOD! This was a 2 night stay so basically our trip was ruined. Suitcases and personal items were soaked and some damaged. Day 2 was spent doing laundry while we waited for the water to recede so we could actually get our vehicles out. The slap in the face came when we were offered unacceptable resolutions. Yes, we want our ENTIRE trip refunded. They refunded half. Well, our entire trip was crap due to negligence on the behalf of VACASA. This is 100% on them. They knew the property floods and should have known that night was going to be a king tide. Luckily, this did not end tragically as it sure could have if small children and/or an elderly family member had been in the downstairs when it flooded. They woke up to 5 in of water all over the floor.
