「We had a wonderful stay at Pencil House over the new year period in Tokyo. The location is quiet and perfect as it is also convenient to get to anywhere with proximity to the metro station. The layout of the rooms was perfect as each of our preteens got their own space and the kitchen has everything needed in a compact space. Communication was very easy with the host and appreciated. Would consider staying again if we are back in the area 」

「I have mixed reviews about this property. First it listed that it had a gym (I was looking for a property with one as I take weight lifting seriously) and i messaged the owner and he said there was no gym. The unit was very clean and we liked that each room had its own temperature control EXCEPT the lower floor. There was no heating whatsoever downstairs on the first floor which meant one of our family members had to sleep in the cold.Another remark would be the stairs, they are very steep so if...

「The property was great for 2 families. The stairs are quite steep so you’ll need to be careful when going up and down. We did noticed that the floors were not swept as there were dust and cobwebs (one spider!) along the stairway. Overall, we still appreciate the house layout and the proximity to the train station. 7-11 is a very short distance away which made it super convenient to grab last minute snacks. 」
