Our stay at the golden palms was wonderful. It was quiet, the staff was extremely kind and friendly and there were a few restaurants and the beach a short walking distance. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to the Bahamas

Really great staff. Get what you paid for with the price- the water heater wasn’t working when we were there so no hot shower. room was so-so. They offer a $20 shuttle from the hotel to the airport which is nice and the breakfast was a nice perk.

This is a place unlike any other. It is like a hotel and B & B, there is a small staff, godd service, convenient location, and old style Bahamas architecture. I plan to visit here everytime I go to Nassau

Great inexpensive option with plenty to walk to!

This was a super great option staying close to the airport for the night before heading out to another island. It’s within walking distance to a number of great restaurants, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, and just a great overall experience. It’s also, the cheapest thing on the island and People who complain about stuff seem to not understand how things work and have ridiculous expectations. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It has a homey feeling. A few things did not work such as bedside lamp, Tv and wall plugs but staff did her best to rectify what she could. Bed was super comfy and clean. Facilities need some tlc. Felt safe and nice gardens to sit in shade. I would stay there again as reasonably close to airport. 3km. Close to beach. 5 minutes but not so easy to find way through the condo build up along the water front. Not much around for dining. More residential area.

Staff and service are excellent. The shower pressure is very low, water from the shower itself and the faucet has distinct smell and taste, not suitable for a person with highly sensitive skin like me. Had to rinse with bottled water ($4.98) every after shower.

We arrived to the properry late, so didnt get ro experience anything around it. However, the staff was super friendly when we checked in and the next morning for breakfast and checking out. They provided a shuttle to the airport for a fee. Getting their shuttle to pick us up at the airport was difficult but only because we got in late due to delays with airline. We had to take a taxi from the airport to the property. As soon as we exited the airport, there were several aggressive taxi drivers looking for a fare...

The isn’t the fanciest, but the staff is working hard to update. The best part is the value for the price and the wonderful staff. Friendly, helpful. Breakfast is a great added benefit (not just continental). Sitting out by the pool with the breeze was lovely. A very short walk to the beach. It is in flight path to airport but no flights overnight. Beds comfy. Chill atmosphere and without a huge crowd.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Clean. Quiet. The only real issue was location. As. Solo traveler I felt it would be safe, and it was, but was really far from downtown, causing a ton of money in cabs. No fault of the facilities. An amazing stay overall. Breakfast was good as well.

Love this place! It's great for people transiting between Nassau and other islands. The shuttle is convenient and won't cost an arm and a leg like those other taxis at the airport. It's also a short walk to love beach where there is a bar that serves really good conch fritters! The beach nearby is lovely and very quiet. The beds in the hotel is firm, which your mileage may vary but perfect for someone like me. Staff was super friendly. FYI, for other reviewers who said the place is dark and dingy, they keep the lights low because Nassau can get hot! They do that to keep the hotel cool. Definitely recommended.

Awesome first time visit!!

I know I'm a few months late with my review. First time my cousin and I visited the Bahamas. I must say the hotel staff and overall friendliness of the citizens of the Island were great! I can't wait to come back and I will definitely reserve a room at the beautiful cozy friendly place. The beach was also beautiful and very close we were able to walk and the breakfast served was wonderful. Thank you for being a part of making our first time and stay a wonderful experience. Again my apologies for the super late review.

This property is near the airport so it’s convenient for those needing to over night. However, the property could use some work. Rooms have a musty smell from being closed up. The areas outside of the room is hot and also has a funny smell. Rooms were ok but could use some work. Not the best stay.

Very clean with comfortable beds. Room had air conditioning with en-suite facilities. Room condition slightly dated but fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast of cereals, coffee and a choice of hot cooked options. Lovely garden with shady trees to relax in and literally only a few minutes walk to the beach. Nirvana beach was 7 minutes walk and, for a $5/person fee gave you access to a great beach, showers and rest room. Nirvana also has a beach front bar/cafe where you can enjoy conche and fries for $17. The hotel also offers a drop-off/pick-up airport service for $20 each way.
