“A beautiful, peaceful stay! So much space and goregous natural light streaming through sash windiws in the morning. The rooms are in an historic, listed building, so there are quirks and without the radiators it can be chilly, so if staying in the winter months consider bringing a cosy dressing gown to wrap up in, especially after a relaxing soak in the huge bathtub. The coffee machine and chocolates were a wonderful treat. As was waking up right in the city centre. ”

“My mum and I had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. It’s set around a beautiful, tranquil courtyard garden with a Koi fishpond. The room was lovely, clean, fresh and quiet. The owner is adorable, friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us including a last minute room change to a family room. I will definitely be staying here again. If I could give you 10*s, I would. Congratulations on a perfect hotel. ”

“Paul met us on arrival. Explained everything clearly. Very helpful and friendly. Dirty around property meaning on the main path outside property burst and rotten and smelly rubbish all along path guessing the council bin men have had strike action and council not quick enough to clean area up thoroughly.”

“This place was a hidden Gem amazing. The Venue was what I considered a Castle on the outside, and on the inside is a little more on the modern side with some touches of the old. Very nice and quiet. It was enjoyable.”

“My wife and I had a lovely two-night stay to visit Alton Towers and our Beehive stay was perfect. The location is idyllic, tucked away in a little village along the river, whose sound provided great ambiance through our open window (we stayed in the Premier King). It is also extremely convenient for visiting the theme park, less than two miles away with our dinner location of choice for both nights (The Star at Cotton) smack in the middle.
