“I stayed here because it is conveniently located and had no expectation. The hotel was above and beyond. The food is just phenomenal even if a little pricey. Both breakfast and dinner were simply superb. Will come back ”

“Only had a very quick stay but impressed with the pub, diner and the room we had, in terms of what it was and cleanliness. Bit expensive though. Staff very friendly, helpful, polite and professional. We’d happily stay there again if we can get a deal. Only thing is pub car park is extremely limited and has half a dozen spaces. However, there is plenty of public spaces around - just need to watch timings but overnight parking seems to be ok.”

Walls a little thin (or I had noisy neighbours :-) ) Reception Staff super helpful and friendly. Bar Staff and Bar Waitress faultless in helpfulness - Bar food (WH LOADED BURGER) arrived quickly and piping hot. Astons Breakfast (Sunday Morning) was fabulous, good selection. Hostess, waiters and waitresses - great job. Hotel Pool, Sauna and Steam, clean and perfect - changing……

“This hotel is one of the Old English Inns. Very vintage style, clean, and comfort. If you want to try some typical English countryside, it is. The location may not suit for those don't drive.”

“Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,……
