It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

This classic shotgun home puts you right in the middle of it, with the architecture and atmosphere that make New Orleans unlike anywhere else.

Living space
High ceilings stretch overhead while tall windows draw in generous natural light, giving the home an open, airy feel that's distinctly New Orleans. Original details throughout lend the space its character - this is a home with history, not a replica of one. Ceiling fans keep the air moving, and air conditioning and heating mean you're comfortable no matter the season.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests across four beds, each furnished with quality linens, dressers, and luggage racks so settling in feels effortless. Sound machines and earplugs are on hand for lighter sleepers, so everyone wakes up rested and ready to explore.

Kitchen & dining
The newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for everything from a proper home-cooked meal to a quick breakfast before heading out. You'll find a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, baking sheet, and coffee maker alongside cooking basics, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses. Coffee, tea, and cocktail essentials are stocked and ready - whether you're easing into a slow morning or winding down after a long night in the Quarter. Pull up a seat at the dining table and make it a meal worth lingering over.

Outdoor spaces
Two outdoor areas give you room to breathe. The front porch is made for slow mornings with a coffee in hand, watching the neighborhood come alive. Out back, the shared backyard has a picnic table and a fire pit - a natural gathering spot to stretch out after a day of eating and exploring. Outdoor furniture is provided.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms keep things easy for groups. Both are well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, cleaning products, and hot water, so you won't need to pack the essentials.

Extras & convenience
An in-unit washer and dryer make longer stays simple. The home also includes a TV for downtime, free street parking, a private entrance with self check-in via smart lock, extra pillows and blankets, hangers, and an iron. Safety features include smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. This is a single-level home with no internal stairs.

Neighborhood
Mid-City puts you within walking distance of the Canal Streetcar, neighborhood restaurants, and local bars. The French Quarter, City Park, and the Superdome are just minutes away - making this a strong home base for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Essence Fest, the Sugar Bowl, and everything in between.

Pet policy
The home is pet-friendly for up to two dogs (25 lbs or less). A pet fee applies; unauthorized pets will incur a $250 additional fee.

Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.
