“Mark is super helpful. The bed in the family suite was really comfortable and the breakfast was decent, included cereals, fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juice and the usual cooked selection with toast. The family suite room is well positioned and has sea views from both windows. Bamburgh is easily walkable from the B&B and there are dining options close by. We managed to park outside the property but there’s plenty parking further up the hill if needed. Imagine it’s hard to park at times. Wish we’d……

“Peter and Sheila were wonderful hosts. They gave us ideas of where to eat and places to see. Breakfast was very good and enjoyable with them providing information about the area. If we return to the Northumberland area we will definitely return there to stay again.”

“The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds”

“Be aware sat nav sends you down the wrong road to access carpark, as you look at it face on, the carpark is on the road to the left of it. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking in carpark at back . “Look, don't get me wrong, it's not terrible by any means. It's just that for a hotel that's trying to play at this level, it struggles with some of the basics. If you're having a short stay there's no housekeeping by default, (which they don't tell you when you arrive) but there's only a small (non-heated) towel rail, so you're going to have soggy towels on day 2. Yes, there was a (small) sign in reception saying this, but it's the kind of thing it would be good for the receptionist to……
