「Great base to explore IOW (by car), nowhere is very far away.Enjoyed visiting Godshill, Shipwreck Centre, Carisbrooke Castle, Newtown Nature Reserve, Freshwater Bay (great waves!), Cowes, Sandown, Ventnor and Shanklin. 「Wonderful peaceful location with fantastic sea view. Lovely scenic walk into Ventnor (15 min approx). Nearby donkey sanctuary well worth a visit, as well as the National Trust walk above Ventnor - the views were amazing 360 degrees. Looking forward to a return visit.」

「This flat is lovely, clean, light and airy. The location is fantastic - just swimsuit on and walk straight down to the beach! The flat had everything we needed. I chose this location for speedy access to the beach, buses to elsewhere on the Island, and food shops - all really close. For swimmers I recommend checking when high tide is, for me high tide is the best swim experience on Ventnor beach. 「Main light did not work, and in the dark, I had to move the bed to access a dangerous wall socket for the bedside light. There was nowhere to put clothes, items or a desk to use and no chair and no space for this anyway. Better if the small double bed was swopped for a single to allow a desk & chair to be put in. The steep and shallow stairs were a safety hazard, so be careful. And the TV didn't allow access to Freeview!
There was no crockery or cutlery to use despite advertising a well-equipped...
