“Worst nights sleep ever!! The beds were the biggest issue and the main reason I would not recommend Wyndham Residences Algarve Carvoeiro. We expected a new 4-star hotel experience, but the bed was unbelievably hard. Genuinely the hardest and most uncomfortable hotel bed we have ever slept on. There was no topper or anything to soften it, and my back still hurts. Our friends had a separate room and had the same experience. None of us slept well. The room also got extremely hot. The AC shuts off……

“I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The staff is fantastic, particularly Adriana, the receptionist, and Jackson, who served breakfast in the morning. They’re incredibly caring and offer amazing hospitality. It’s a 10-star hotel, not 8.8 as the ratings suggest! This is a new hotel with rooftop and ground-floor swimming pools and a sauna and cold water treatment on the first floor. They also provide free shuttle buses to the beach and Albufeira old town. “La habitación mediocre manchas de pintura la puerta del lavabo lamentable no podíamos abrirla del todo por que pegaba en el inodoro, sillas y mesa del balcón llenas de pintura, en el lavabo ni un solo enchufe de corriente la lamparilla de la mesita de noche no funcionaba los enchufes de la habitación solo había uno y era casi inaccesible etc.”

“Property was a short 5 mins drive out of Ferragudo centre. Also walkable in around 25 minutes its about 2km to town . If you just want the beach there is a lovely path through woods which takes about 5 mins to get there, but there are no facilities on the beach, if you want sun loungers its probably around 1km to walk along the beach until you come to these along with three restaurants. The Property itself is traditional very clean and tidy, quite small which we liked! perhaps 40 bedrooms max.……
