「Okay for a place to stay but its a help yourself breakfast. No staff around. No staff to check you in. I had to phone to get someone to come out. And no one says 'Hello Old Star B&B'. Just 'Hello, Karen speaking.' How are you supposed to know you've reached the right number? No staff on check out. I just left the keys on the bed. Poor customer service.」

「1. There were many dead bees to start off with 2. Bedside lamps didn’t even work so we had to sleep with the main light on. 3. The pressure of the sink in the toilet was disastrous as it was too high and would go everywhere and the water kept turning on and off . 4. The main light kept flickering. 5. There was also no staff in the property and when we faced some problems in the night and we weren’t comfortable to phone them in the night .」

「Everything was fine and they were very helpful when Expedia did not send the pass code for the door or tell us our room number. As this site says there were no Hosts available after 5 for check in. WE HAD TO SLEEP IN OUR CAR OVER NIGHT AND WE GOT A PARKING TICKET TO BOOT! I WAS TOLD THAT THIS HAPPENS ALOT WITH BOOKING THROUGH EXPEDIA. WOULD LIKE AN EMAIL TO DISCUSS GETTING REFUND AND COST OF THE TICKET.」

「We found this stunning hotel right in the centre of Bath while browsing the Expedia web site. We never dreamed it would be this good. The friendly reception staff greeted us with a warm welcome and were eager to make our stay memorable. 「Devonshire House was clean and well maintained. The bedroom was roomy and clean as was the ensuite. Plenty of tea and coffee and extra left in the communal lounge if required. Could have done with extra towels, only a bath sheet per person and one hand towel, could have done with one smaller towel per person for after washing your hair..minor criticism and we did manage by sharing the hand towel.. Chris was very friendly and helpful. We took his advice and went on the FREE walking tour around...
