Walk to beach longer than described. Two long waits for shuttle, shift change. The couches are tired old and need cleaning. Otherwise bautifully decorated. Spacious. Did notvlike going to check in twice because we arrived after hours and I trip doesnt open till 11. Would probably rent directly thru north beach next time

Pros-King Master downstairs, 2 bed with 2 beds and a bath upstairs. -Extra half bath downstairs-Plenty of starter items to get you through the week -Full kitchen of cookware and dining needs-Short 10 min walk to the pool area - but the shuttles were a nice touch. Cons (little items, but little things add up)-Having to call maintenance to come spray for bugs after finding them in the house-The house didn't feel super clean and we needed to touch up in areas (the dirty mop in the laundry room was disgusting)-I didn't like that I had to put dishes away that were left in the dishwasher

Family trip

We had a wonderful stay. We did have to fo some cleaning when we got there but the home was nice and felt like home away feom home. The pool qnd beach access was also really nice. Will dtay again.

Great Stay

Overall it was a great stay. The amenities within the resort are fantastic, we enjoyed the pools and beach access, and the entire North Beach Plantation was beautiful and quiet. The back porch, while it wasn't big it was perfect for us 6 adults to sit around and relax. It was about a 10 minute walk to the resort/beach but it's an easy quiet walk with nice sidewalks and only one small hill on your way back. My only complaint on the place is the floors were gross, like walk around for 10 minutes and your feet or socks were black, and the bathtub was too dirty to give my daughter a bath in, there was visible hair and dirt. I also wish there were smart TV's in all of the bedrooms but that didn't ruin our time.

Perfect Villa

I must say, I was nervous about renting a villa and wasn’t even sure where to start as there are so many to choose from. The description of this property is spot on! We were granted a early check in with 48 hour notice and any emails I sent I received a response within 12 hours. The property was very clean and very cute and perfect for a summer vacation. The pool was was within 5 minute walking distance or you could drive and the parking garage was very easy and not packed. The back porch was amazing! It rained 2 days we were there off and on and we were able to sit outside and listen to the rain and play games as a family. I will definitely rent this property again! One thing I will say on the negative side, it would be great if the knives and large utensils were better quality. It was very difficult to cut food with the knives that are supplied. Also standard garbage bags don’t fit in the garbage can making us either having to buy more or stretch them with two people assistance. These things aren’t a deal breaker though, as previously stated, I would definitely rent again.

Filthy

The place was dirty. Shower curtain was moldy. Bed skirts were dirty Hair in the bed. Fishy smell coming from the garbage disposal. No trash can liners for the trash can in the kitchen. Could not sit outside on the patio because it was dirty. You cannot convince me that a cleaning crew cleaned that house before we arrived. When I texted the cleaning crew (the only way to communicate), they said they would come out. They did not. Stated we were not there and they did not have a key. They never showed up the 2nd time either.A lot of money paid for a filthy house. Will not use this company again. Also need to be able to call (not text) a person when you are traveling. Very disappointed.

Cleanliness appears to be a chronic issue

The proximity to the pools, beach, restaurants and activities was great! Unfortunately, the property was dirty with food on the floor and hair/dirt in one of the beds when we arrived. We dismissed this initially thinking it was just a small hiccup. However, a few days into our stay and the list of concerns regarding the property had become enough that we contacted maintenance. We were told “ Wish we would have known about the cleaning issues sooner so we could have fixed them. Not much we can do about them the day before you leave.” This property has a pest problem; we discovered multiple live cockroaches and other bugs. According to the other reviews on Vrbo for this property, the issue of a dirty house upon guest arrival has been noted multiple times over the past few months, which indicates that despite being notified by guests during and after their stays of the less than ideal cleanliness of the property, no steps appear to have been taken to remedy the problem. I hope for future guests it does not continue to be the responsibility of the guest to have to contact maintenance for repeated issues and management just does it right the first time.

Great for families

Experience was good. We enjoyed our stay. House was clean upon arrival and well stocked. Only complaint I had was Grill could use a better location, there were too many ants around for me and the grates were rusted so we did not use it.

Olde Mill

Overall this home was great and we would rent again! We loved the screened in porch and the grassy side yard was great for some yard games. The kitchen was stocked well enough for a rental. The walk to the beach and pools was not bad at all. The neighborhood is very walkable and bikeable. And the proximity to Barefoot Landing and highway access are great. A few minor details like a deep pocket fitted sheet for the master bed and access to a hose at the house would be great additions.

North beach home

The cleanliness of the home upon arrival was okay. The amount of cooking supplies…pots/pans utensils was very limited. Hard to believe that someone lived there, more like a agency owned home strictly as a rental. Overall it was okay but we wouldn’t rent it again.

Great spot - we will come back!

The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. It was a great amount of room for the 5 adults and 1 infant in our group. When we arrived the house was not very clean (floors were not swept or mopped, surfaces not wiped off, hair in the shower drain) but after texting the the number provided for assistance they had a cleaning crew out early the next day and were very responsive! The only downfall of the place is we didn’t realize it backed up to the main road of the resort so there was a decent amount of cars going by. Also I feel like the kitchen could have been stocked a little better. But overall the place was beautiful and we would definitely go back!

Wonderful Location

What an amazing experience from start to finish at 500 Olde Mill Drive North Myrtle Beach. Everything was explained explicitly, from what to expect and what the house/resort offers to the contact free checkout. The gentleman that gave us us the keys was knowledgeable and friendly. Home was beautiful. Tastefully decorated and plenty of room for our party of 9 to spread out. Kitchen had plenty of items to prepare meals. Location was fantastic with a quick walk to the beach or walk to Barefoot Landing. Will definitely recommend.

Absolutely will book again

Such a beautiful comfortable and spacious home! We were super close to everything and had so much fun. We had zero issues but I’m sure if we had an issue it would have been solved in no time. We brought our newborn son with us and it was spacious enough for all his amenities. The shower in the master is absolutely amazing it could easily fit 4 people in there. The beds are super comfy. We will definitely book again next time we are in myrtle beach! Thank you for having us and providing us with a great place to stay.

Amazing getaway for family with kids.

During our stay we have more then pleasant experience. Place was clean , updated and comfortable for the entire family . The resort was excellent. Lots to do , many different pools and of course the beach was amazing . The resort had nice bar . The food was A Ok . Lots of stores all around and many places to eat . We will definitely stay there again . We will be coming back next year . Highly recommend !

Great Location

Nice quiet place to end your day in myrtle beach. Very easy access to barefoot landing. The only drawback is it’s a little ways to the beach and pool. They have shuttles but still a bit more of a process to get there especially if you have a lot of stuff for beach.

Summer vacation

The house was in a great location and was very roomy and clean. 5-6 minute walk to the pools and towers and several restaurants are walkable as well. Easy access to Route 17 & Barefoot Landing is only a 2-3 minute drive without traffic.
