北约克郡设有 SPA 水疗的度假村酒店

“The Grand Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The room (a triple / family room) was clean and convenient. The fans in the room (in the midst of a heatwave) and the water dispenser in reception were great touches. We were initially impressed with the proactive communication prior to our visit. However, the code we were given (twice) for the NCP wouldn't work on arrival and we were told by NCP it had expired in March 2026. On raising this with Barbara at reception, we received a shrug……

“I was attracted to the driveway and the room wallpaper when I researched on where to stay in North Yorkshire. I was happy with the room though the garden view was a stretch. We had a great dinner at Amber’s restaurant. The steak was decent though the pork loin was too tough. They did pretty mocktails and I was happy to try the sticky dare pudding ice cream. “We stayed here on Saturday 20th June. We checked in and noticed there was a wedding party in the function room. We asked reception to put us in a room where we would not be disturbed by the party as we were having an early night before leaving in the morning. The receptionist understood our request and said we would have a quiet room. The room we were actually given was directly above the smoking area at the front of the hotel. This is where all the smokers from the party gathered and made a lot……

“On arrival my husband was given a door key card not the actual key that was actually needed. He was stuck outside the room on the second floor because had had all the luggage and didn't want to lug it back downstairs. Room was very hot with no view but fortunately had a fan. Bed was comfortable and TV reception was very poor. Best I can do was our stay was 2 star.🙂‍↕️”
