“We absolutely loved our stay at The Cove. Even though we were rounding out our St Croix trip with only two nights here, it was quiet, clean, sheik, and a 10/10 stay for us. Doug met us as we were parking and walked us through, offered to help us with our bags and chatted a bit. The property could not have been more thought out. The check-in and shared spaces were very well designed, the Nespresso machine in the room, great toiletries, amazing mattress, and even the hair drier had multiple heat……

“What a great location with 5 star views. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves for the 5 days we stayed. The resort could use a little updating but I’m not complaining because I loved every bit of our time there. Breakfast is amazing! I’m so sad it’s going to be turning into a club med. Such a beautiful resort.”

“The views were extraordinary and the location, peaceful. The accommodations were better than expected with simple amenities free of charge, such as coffee, beverages and snacks, with replenishment upon request at no extra charge. Communication was prompt. My mom and I slept well every night of our 6-night stay. This location is ideal if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle and still be relatively close to basic shopping. An infinity pool is under construction and I would return once it……

“Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper,……

“The place was perfect for us with walking distance to the dive center, beach, and to the Landing restaurant. It was small and quaint with friendly cats and peacocks just roaming the property! We enjoyed our stay and will be back again! ”

“We loved everything about our stay here and plan to return! The cottage itself was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed. We loved the location, the beach, the snorkeling, The Landing restaurant’s food and drinks (we ate there 5 times!), and loved the free beach chairs. We had a car and toured the whole rest of the island and were happy we had chosen this place on Cane Bay!”

“The host (actually, his daughter owns the place) was very welcoming and friendly. He gave us valuable information about places to visit and restaurants to go to. He gave us his number and said we could call him anytime if we needed anything. The house has all amenities and has a cozy yet luxurious vibe. People on the island seemed pretty friendly also. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!”

“We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”

“Location, views, responsiveness of host were all amazing! The house is a generous size and we were very comfortable there. Beach access and a few restaurants are super close. It was easy to find the two larger towns on the island and we went to Buck Island. The house could use a little TLC but we also understand it’s location receives a lot of weather, which we loved. We all definitely wish to return in the future!”
